  1. I would introduce the noise from a distance first I have used this method on young dogs if you dont have a blank pistol use a party popper. prepare your dogs meal in its dish have your helper stand a good distance away and fire the party popper and imedatly feed the dog. If the dog re acts negatively a big no no is for you to make a fuss or try to re assure the dog if you react the dog will think there is something wrong just try again the next meal time but ask your helper to go a further distance with time and patience things should improve

  12. 100% agree with pointer get some great flights flying at rabbits the odd duck and pheasent no need to put your hawk at risk flying at unsuitable quarry . I normaly only let my hawk hunt from fist not let them self hunt around the woods

After they had eaten just picked them up put back down and picked up again did this for 15 minutes each time. Did same again today had no bitting at all still a little nervous when hand goes to pick them up for 1st time they obviously wriggle around but seems like I am on the right track anymore tips guys do you think 4 to 5 10 to 15 minutes is enough to get them really tame .? Cheers

While at the breeders house we held stroked both kits for a while you could see they had been well handled and in good health and conditions they was kept in was brilliant. We arrived home and has expected they were very nervous and taking them out of the transport box one screamed and went and bit in fear.poor things such a big change for them.
