    when i can get mine in, she sleeps on the bedroom window ledge keeping watch for those feral animals that wonder the neighbourhood.

    I have tried the treats, squeaky toys, long leads, pretending to find something, they all work with varying degrees of failure, they only work when she doesnt have a quarry. When she gets her head down there is only 2 ways to stop her, 1 follow her and let her get to whats she is after. 2 let her work and hope you can get a grip of her, just hope they calm down as they get older

    Congrats on two healthy and strong pups, just on looks i would choose pup 2, but agree with Hannah, you should choose on the personality that suites you best. Good luck with that and hope you find a good home for the other one.

    your right there Barrie, we used to take a bunch of kids river fishing taught them to respect the enviroment aswell as the quarry, they were always up for it, my 2 lads love it and are just getting into taking the dog out this year so i hope they take to this aswell. atb vosey

    Went for the weekend to catch up with family, must agree with most here, to many stalls selling stuff at high prices. The kids enjoyed the archery and air guns etc and my mother enjoyed a mouch around the food and craft stalls, best thing for me was the white helmets display, watching the gun dogs and feeding some nice chub off the bridge.

    I used to love the weekend up at lowther, going to chatsworth in a fortnight to see what thats like. the midland is big but not as good a day out.

    good day, everything seemed to go well, the weather did help. nice to chat with a few from here. one down side my youngest loved the hounds and wants to get some, 20 couples to be exact.

    its good fun, i do the same thing with a squirel tail over and empty swim feeder (remove the lead it saves the windows), this gets my dog sprinting up and down garden and i get casting practice.
