    I upset my 7 year olds teacher when they were set a home work about foxes, I told him that along with beatles, mice etc they ate lambs, pheasent, kittens and hens as part of their normal diet. She sent me a letter saying I didnt know what I was talking about and shouldnt be telling my child such lies. My better half has advised (warned really)me not to respond as it would go against my lad as that is the type of person that teacher is. If thats what the teachers are like the kids will never belive what is really happening until its all over the press.

    I have always been told that the fell is the working type of terrier from the lake district, but you see rough coated blacks called patterdales and they look the same make up, so I gues they are all just the same with the names just to suit the owners preference. I just know what I mean when decribing a fell type even if it is B&T, black, chocolate or red.

    An elderly couple by me have an old fell terrier, it has the same scars as mentioned in the article. I regularly meet them on the my local park and we chat about their dog as she is the same type as mine, they were told when the adopted her that she had been taken of people found guitly of digging brock down south. So they do get rehomed but well out of the area.

    thats about 15 1/2lbs, thats is an idea weight if she is about 13 - 15'' tts.

    I totaly agree with this, my lakeland bitch was with its dam until 16 weeks old and never introduced to new people, she would always stay clear of people she didnt know, but was fine with people she would meet regularly. Now after alot of playing with her especially fetch and tug of war she is becoming more freindly with people she doesnt know.

    I had to do this last week, not nice but they thanked me for letting them know and giving them the chance to bury it. I have a question what if the dog gets the cat on the park.
