    Mine too. Almost like the gat gun of the rifle world - no doubt they got loads of people into shooting! Indeed. When I was about 12. I had a proper shit 4 x 20 scope on it too. God the times. Sold it to some p***y down the road who actually shot me in the back with it some months later, had my S300 by then, couldn't afford the air to shoot back. Those were the times.

    NV gear mate. No question. Ratting is about numbers, and the light may cause the odd few to leg it. Sit back 20 yards [if the space allows], NV gear and clear the buggers out.

    I would say don't worry. Keep using it on targets. Get used to just shooting a recoiling air gun. Your groups won't matter much as such at the minute. When that HC arrives, it'll be a different rifle altogether. In a way, your basically starting again. You can't compare a 20 year old BSA Airsporter to a 2014-15 HC. Although the AS was one of thee best looking models. Ever. Them groups will soon tighten. Although, it took me a good three years to keep 5 or 6 shots touching each other consisttantly.     HFT, other than fieldsports is high highly recommended. Beware. It gets addictive. I shot a lot of HFT last year and the year before, but for some reason the hunting bug bit properly hard this year, so have left it behind a bit, need to get back at it really. It can be a bit, now imagine this... A lot of middle age men talking bollox about how much knowledge they know about this and that, owning 2k Styers and so on, moaning a lot when they miss a 32 yard elevation... Yeah, your right, he was one half of Theoben years ago, but moved over there to set you RAW. So, yeah, I guess your right, it is part of the Theoben family.

    Hi mate , try AA express 7.9gr , JSB heavies 10.3gr AA fields 8.44 gr in that order they are all in 4.52 head sizeWhat FPS are you getting with those express v'man? Just out of interest as I'm guessing it's not that close to the limit of you have tried the heavies and there under Rez , 804-807 fps 11.35ft/lb on the express 712 -716 fps 11.6 - 11.7 ft/lb on heavies Nice one. Did you do the 450240 sum just before that post?

    Mmmmm looks a quality rifle as said and you hope it groups half as good as your HW 100 you`ll be happy ? Why pay £500 more than your 100 for it (£1250 to £1350) in total is that ? - for half as good ? Why ? Coz I wanted one So thought why not. Don't see many around. Love the old Rapids shapes etc too. I was only pointing out how accurate the HW is.
