well... all i can say mate is before this wet weather,,did you walk your ground??.cos round this way after another dry winter.ponds dykes drains etc were all in a bad way... the ban was needed...................

gnasher ,, this is the little stove i use,,i can knock a drink/soup up in about three mins with this set up,,the cannisters/stove can be bought from argos,sometimes tesco.. mine came from car boot..lol...the reason i use these cannisters is because you can break them down,,[ie they pack smaller] they are campingaz cv 270 easy click..the others you can use dont allow you to take the cannister of..be aware of this.. but there again i dont know what stove your using..this little stove has been worth its weight in gold..has been used in france/spain/portugal,,even africa so dont be put off by the

easy pack food.. cup a soup/ potnoodle.etc..break em down and pack in those re sealable bags.. as for a stove, kelly kettle too bulky..i use a small gas stove ,,the one were you can remove the small gas cannister..cheap enamel steel mug from boyes, about a couple of quid..

so you lot grew up in the eighties then,,lol... me the 50/60,s they was the times to grow up in. every thing fresh and new,,great music every week, tuning in to the pirate stations. everything made in uk..loads of work..no foreigners round my way,we used to class the scots irish and welsh as immigrants,,lol..

next month we will be having a few weeks wildcamping in scotland,,i have no need to hook up [solar panels on camper etc]..so out the way places all ok.. have been up the west coast before,,looking for places off interest etc.. so all you scottish lads/lasses, any places i should look up,, its mainly a wildlife/birding tour.. thanks in advance.. cheers byron.

cheap feed for the birds in this cold weather wheat ,,soaked overnight in water.. dried dog food..[soaked] tesco porridge oats uncooked,, ground feeders,,ie, blackies dunnocks robins etc love it.. go on give it a try...
