mate did it earlier this year with his lad.. package jobby,,included a couple of harley,s..he did,nt mention much about it.. not my scene,,i like a bit more thirld world country [on the wild side ]type thing.. heading for timbucto/dogon country in a few weeks.. plenty of wildcamping on the way,,ha ha. deserts and star watching on a night.... marvellous............

mackem.....ferry portsmouth/ santander... cross spain.. ferry spain..[tanger med ]new port... marroco..pick mauri visa up in rabat.. down western sahara .. pick up mali visa,,nouachott.. turn left into mali..lol.......... six/8weeks timescale.. will be on bikes,, tenere....bmw.. hoping to visit dogon country.. and any other crazy/out the way place down there.... mostly wild camping..will be having a look/stay for a few days.. at an overland site in bamako.. google ..sleeping camel.. cheers... byron........

doing a bit a work on me camper tday,,and left me phone by mistake on the plinth above the bumper .. forgot all about it, then jumped in camper and went to pick the mrs up from shopping about six miles there and back.. had to go over six speed bumps,, a mini round about etc.. got back home, looked for phone nowhere to be seen,so rang it and there it was on the plinth.. lucky or what!!!!!!!

a chap used to call at a keeper mates of mine in the mid eighties,, thetford way, coypu control was what he went under ..told me he cage trapped em using sugar beet .. dont think theres any round that way now..

no reds this way,,pity.. but plenty of greys..mate of mine breeds a few in captivity.. i find a fen and a bit of peanut butter carried in old paste jar makes an irresistable magnet for them.... sooner the reds can build up a resistance to this pox job the better ,,the old ancient briton needs a little help from his friends..

well me mate was picking up [partridges] behind the pickers up yesterday,,on the estate next door, they picked 90 plus birds,,out of a total of over two and a half thousand.. :icon_eek: the previous week they shot a thousand brace of grouse one day and twelve hundred birds the day after.. some serious shooting dont you think..
