Glad to hear he's home. Almost exactly what happened to my Stafford last year, had a chunk of small intestine removed ............... that cost Direct Line £3000 ish ............. funny how the vet always asks if the dog is insured though eh?

My Stafford is with Direct Line too, judging from the vets reaction when we mentioned who we are with, they are reputable. They were easy to deal with when we needed them last year, ( near 3 grand bill in the end). Just trying to think of a good reason my Lurcher wasn't with them too .................. £818 bill last week! Ouch!

Exactly right ................ there are plenty of other sites to peddle on, so why do people keep whining about not being able to sell dogs on here unless they've contributed to the site in other ways?

If you use a claim handling firm, they'll know exactly what to claim for, you'll have a replacement car asap that will be charged to the wagon drivers insurance company, they will arrange all your P.I. claim, sort you appointments out with consultant etc. You might have to sign a few forms along the way, but the end result will be a maximum pay out for your accident and injuries. I hear Barbados is nice .......... You'll get a good pay out for those injuries mate. I know it won't turn the clock back, but it won't half make up for it happening!

That's about 10 minutes away from me! I didn't even know it was still open ............. Is it a regular thing Dawn? I can't run my dog this time (because he was as near dead as it possible to be last week) but would deffo be interested in going again. Are the dogs muzzled to race? -
