Thanks!, was out today , tried six places ( areas ) , nothing doing , bit of scent in two places but not in the burrow . saw a pack out on way home , had chat with one of them .sensible men . terrier got a rat this morning .

Only the man who's working his own terriers every season knows the ins and outs of them . and I don't mean coming in and out of a hole whilst on .

couldnt of put if any betterwould you say that any dog that barks is afraid? And if a dog was not barking and was sitting with his quarry and waiting for you to break through to be buried into it , be hard and intelligent _?I mean a dog which would keep it there but not bark or fight , unless had to , and when you broke in on the dog.

thanks. Yes got a weird cut on the top of its head , I think I might know which time. It was only a bumpy scab but got looking like that worse . have to watch it next time , don't want something running into it , unless it was the other way round ,!, no panic !

All I know Neil is the a lot you don't know about good dogs and that are going well, familys of dogs and nothing kept if no good for the job.if you met them you really could say something , if you were honest . after you would be stuck for words

I got mine for free and traced it back to the breeder , nice old man . I tried it and worked out for me hunting , lot people wouldn't give them a fair chance but also the would be fair few dogs who probaly not got it in them to be half decent . few people tried breed the lurchers with mine after id put the work into the dog .get your own , the same people were the own experts on lurchers , so dont involve me for the own merits . mine was same as a good all round lurcher but a lurcher itself would been more suited for me . i got it for nothing when no one wanted it and it got a good life , doin

thought might been more ac stuff in that dog , is that grandson of Teddy? . I told that when he bred of teddy ,who half ac cross? , that more same dog put in the bitch to breed off. Im only know of a couple of sons of teddy and a couple of his son ,a black dog ,dead about two years ,headcase , the gremlin its name i think .
