he's bred mostly out of hard dogs , and he is tapped from young and on .he works bay mix , he old fashioned way he hunt and stuff, no barking today , thought would hunting fox. Has some bark though , would annoy the head off ya ,ha

Thanks!. Was out today , bolted two nice young foxes out of the cover around the burrows , i didnt get in there and the mungrel had chased one around the back in and red terrier was hunting. Black dog could see it and keen as ever , one fox came back across the field , had only terrier on lead and gutted too because i missed a great photo of it . when another place before i left across to permision and the was machine working the spuds , terrier was loose , i heard a shot go off , i went back up the field to them, he waved me over , one of the men had a stick in the machine , and was stopped .

this one was bred by a man i know , he dont sell dogs and he tell you the truth .it would hold one up in a tube and that be it .pure mute . no fun the man would say laughing

Fk knows what he's got , but the men who bought stuff of him for lot of money years back and have worked well, produced , worked to knowing what the do .keeping there lines close . on the other side the people used his name and selling dogs

this one would been about seven years old .saw this dug too one day , the man told me she was doing well and reliable . done the job , no problem and good digging lads,and no messing .was a good day out. Never knew the breeding of it , he wanted to know. Was bought out of edrd i think as a pup of decent man.all contacts were lost .

thanks ,yes hopefully good times ahead ,dogs been going fairly well and as good ,better than others I had to nearly put up with .the well suited for me and where I go , a few others in the past here though done the honours and couldn't of asked for more . the black one isn't as blocky as it looks ,has a perfect enough body ,shape .

Meant to say ,a month or so for places to be left still , for weather colder and burrows. Not seeing hardly any foxes about lately and I'd be going around about thirty miles area, have to find some better hotspots,permisions!

fair play ,FD .was out today ,got too warm , tried one place and looked like someone had a dig in one spot ,backfilled well. Even another month half wouldnt do any harm for land burrows to be used here.

A man df , about 30 years ago ,went out with him a bit and saw him dig to his dogs , strong fit lad, consistant and when on to be even better terrierman . went out with a few in ireland one day who were first class too, and fair .

red dog , good worker , and no bother from the reputation of workers he came from, proven himself. This his third season he dug enough for me but not big numbers ,and the were hardy ones out there an couple of places I hadn't had one out of .if he gets a easy one now , god help it ,but he been a good dog alright and no fear , tidy dog.lot of courage

Thanks. Yes had to find my own places mainly ,and permission. If havnt been out for a day to three days is long enough time. Talking to an nice old man the other week , says it gettin too difficult hunt places and what you can do .the trying stop everything .and it wild down here an has real traditions too.
