Thats the sort of thing I'm putting feelers out for, trying to see what's out there
-
He is a good mate and a proper dog man. I understand his reason, enough said. I've never been what I would call hard at it, whilst she is a working bitch she is a family dog. That's what I keep. I'd like a bit more height, bit more toughness to the skin and coat maybe, that's through 6yrs of learning with her of what I'd like to tweak.

Around 23.5 I reckon. Absolute dynamite off the mark and on rabbits. All I wanted her for. Had a few runs on bambi, quickest thing I have ever seen to catch up to them then runs alongside them looking up, which Ive no issue with, I dont want a problem......just being honest......but she is quick.
-
She is out and out rabbit, I want something a bit more but not too much more, produce 75% rabbit......that may sound daft but I will know when I see it.

This is the one from the early days....

Cheers pal. I've stayed off here with her as she has kicked on but she is a good bitch. I wanted a rabbit only dog and she has excelled at that. We have had some change in our house last couple years losing 2 terriers and my lab is now 12 so Pip has nothing that can keep with her, feel like timing wise things maybe happen for a reason. Not in a rush, but just seeing what's about of interest.

Ayup lads. I read in this section but don't post much, for my own reasons. I always wanted a pup off my bitch, her early days were on here before I went quiet. I'm considering breeding her this year, I always wanted a pup of her and she is now 6 so it's now or never IMO. Like I say there are some early posts on her progress before I stopped sharing. Sure they could be found. I'm in discussions with a good friend about his dog but he's not sure he wants to stud. My bitch is 1/2whip, 3/8grey, 1/8beddy. A big chunk of the line are from ppl on here that I'm not naming. I

Nowt pal. Wasn't expecting anything either just some fresh air for a couple days. 30acres, 30ft deep and water still ice cold despite air temps coming up. Hard work at this time of year chasing the big mud pigs. I will keep trying though.

Cut my fishing trip short but I wasn't going to waste the sausage and eggs

Turned out well, with a small taste test just to double check

Half of the bacon is in the smoker for the day, will be slicing and packing tonight

Yeah it's horrible mate. There is something missing in the house now, just doesn't feel right.

Thats what we use pal, we are at Doncaster, called serenity. Very good service and I would rather have him home that take him to a vet.
-
Hard, but the right one pal.

This was Ollie and Pip when she was a puppy. She is heartbroken.
-
Thats what I'm dealing with pal, r lass and 2 kids broken hearted, and my lurcher bitch is too, like she is lost.
-
He is not suffering anymore. Buried him next to his brother with his own apple tree. My Pip the lurcher wouldn't leave him alone last few days. When he went we let her see him, she came in and was trying to cover him up with a blanket. She is grieving as well as us.

Well he is still hanging in the little bugger, looks like he isn't guna give up so guna have to make the call for him. Still not eaten since Friday but just won't quit. f***ing heartbreaking.
-
.....for our old westie Ollie. It's been coming for probably 18m now but we have been working hard to keep him comfortable without filling him full of drugs. He has taken a real turn for the worse this weekend and hasn't eaten yesterday or today. I've booked him to be PTS Tuesday but I'm not sure it will be needed. 15+yrs, good innings but still heartbreaking. Tryna put a brave face on for R lass and the kids, but its like losing a family member, one you actually like.
