  1. It's coming from Birmigham isn't it Mitch? Chris
  2. You're a handsome man Mac but you're fecking crackers if you sell the HW for to buy a Daystink. Chris
  3. I'm almost speechless Mitch. Sitting here reminiscing about the seven, yes seven piles of unmitigated shite with Regal stamped on the side and wondering, like Mac is, who you are and what you've done with the real VM. Seriously though mate, if you've set your heart on another there's no turning back. I do suggest you have a good look at a Super Carbine first though, it's already got a reg and a BSA barrel. As you know I really like mine. All the best with whatever you choose mate. Chris
  4. Stop it now Mac, you're making me blush. :-) Chris
  5. Glad to help mate. All the best. Chris
  6. I sold it to a mate Mitch because he really wanted it and it wasn't getting used apart from plinking. I use a pcp for hunting cos I'm not good enough with a springer to get the same success levels. He's selling it now for £200 which is dirt cheap for a good Tinbum fettled 95. I'd buy it back but in the last three weeks I've splashed on a new R10 and a nearly new S410. Chris
  7. That's beautiful Mitch. It makes the 97 a really good looking rifle. Chris
  8. No worries chaps, pm me your address mate and I'll post it in the morning. Unless you're local and want to collect. Atb Chris
  9. I've got one he can have Mac, if he still needs one Chris
  10. Hi Mitch, I honestly can't fault it mate. The newest mags are very good and its as accurate and consistent as the HWs. The finish is better than the MK1 I had a while ago and I think it's a much improved model. The HWs are going nowhere but the R10 is definitely a favourite at the minute. I'd definitely recommend one. Let me know what you decide. Chris
  11. Sounds good. What pellets are you using mate? Chris
  12. Thanks chaps. Will do Mitch. It is much more pointable than the full length ones mate and the newest mags are way smoother. Chris
  13. In .177 of course, and I have to say it's a cracking little rifle. I've got three HW100 rifles, all with lots of mods, and I will never part with them but this R10 is a big improvement on the old ones, especially the magazine which is faultless. I put a Huggett moderator on it and it's nice and quiet with a really slick bolt action. With Daystate FT Heavies it's doing a very consistent 11.5fpe and very accurate at 35yds. I felt I was taking a chance on this gun but, albeit after only one day, I think it's a real star. I'll be testing it further over the weekend but first impressions are ver
  14. That looks really nice VM. Lovely guns. Chris
  15. I find it brings the balance back nicely towards the shoulder and makes the gun handle a lot better. The increase in shot count varies from gun to gun with some giving just a few more shots and others up to a third more. Chris
  16. Well done Jairon, now follow your good intentions up mate. Chris
  17. Thanks mate. I'm a bit thick as I've only just realised that the Longbow is left handed but good luck with the sale, it looks a cracker and I would have travelled if it was right handed. Chris
  18. Hi Rez, whereabouts are you mate? Chris
  19. Buy a Mk 3 then! Superb electronic trigger, electronically actuated Harper valve, good shot count and a real rifle. A lot cheaper too on the secondhand market!I'm not looking to buy anything at the moment mate but I've heard good things about the mk3. Chris
  20. I like the electric triggers but I can't help thinking I'd keep getting my nose hair trapped in the magazine when it indexes. Chris
  21. I like the electric triggers but I can't help thinking I'd keep getting my nose hair trapped in the magazine when it indexes. Chris
  22. Thanks Dave, the gun was a KT when I bought it new but I had the sporter stock to put on it. Chris
  23. It does make a difference to Daystates because they are loud with an Airstream silencer on. This is my KS .177 Chris
  24. I've got one on my KS mate and I'd say it's no quieter than the standard HW silencer but it does look the business. Mine was £140 if I remember right. Chris
