    mclaren

can someone please explain how mclaren can be found guilty of cheating and banned from the world championship yet the drivers are still in it ? seems like a load of bo**ocks to me ! surely if the team were suspected of building cars using another teams secrets then the cars should be banned as well as the drivers ?..........funny how mclaren are miles slower than ferrari now that the poo has hit the fan...........or am i missing something ?
  2. i use old jumpers from the charity shop down the road, the ones they can't sell i buy off em for a couple of quid a black bag full, changed every couple of days they're perfect bedding. i use shavings in poo corner (i'm lucky in that the three of em use one place to crap ) have tried hay and straw but find it too dusty, i find shredded paper a bit harsh for my liking but each to their own.
  3. anybody need a galvanised trailer ? i have a nice lightweight galvo mesh sided trailer for sale, i bought it to carry a BIG farm quad for a shoot i have, sadly the quad got nicked so the trailer is up for grabs. i need to replace the broken lights and rewire them properly but apart from that it's like new. it has leaf spring suspension and good tyres, the rear ramp folds down to allow you to ride the quad on. it cost me over £400 but i'm hoping for £250 with sorted lights. it's 9' 9" long, 5' 9" wide and 12" high, tows great and being nice and light it's easy to move round even when full.

  6. i have three rescue ferts, 1 jaffa fat bloke hob, a small albino jill and a largeish poley jill, the hob is around two years old and the jills are around six months old, had them for a couple of months now, tonight i examined the jills for lumps etc............i found a lump on the poley jill.....said lump is actually a willy how the f^*% did i miss that ? ? that'll teach me to take someones word for granted, it never entered my head to check stupid or what ? what age do the nads appear and what age to have jaffa'd ? and yes.....i know i'm a twat

  10. thanks gibby, now you put it like that 5+1+7, i'm quite chuffed now, thats pretty good for the new team the dry that i leave in is just a handfull in a small bowl, thats all they ate when the other chap had them so it's taken a while to get them off it as a complete food source, i prefer to feed meat for the main feed but still think i should provide something to snack on.....right or wrong it makes me happy and the ferts don't mind either, they still love me
  11. hi ditch, sorry, should have explained a bit better, yes the digs were the result of kills but only two were backed up, the other three were where the two jills had met with a bunny between them, probably just coincidence ! as for the hob, i suspect he may be a bit under the weather, he seems a bit listless today..a bit, well, tired i guess you'd say...having said that though, he never has been the liveliest of ferts since i took him in from another owner. he works well enough but has no stamina, i'm hoping he just needs to work a bit more ofton as i think he was more of a pet with the previ
  12. took the two young jills out this morning, first time out, 5 digs later...............they bolted one :clapper: i hope they get better soon or i'll have arms like sodding popeye digging the buggars out my fat git hob (who ate all the pies then) managed to squeeze himself down a few holes and bolted 7.....hoorah :clapping: :clapping: he then collapsed in the mouth of a hole and fell asleep ! going again tomorrow to see if the jills do any better, the hob is on a diet and an exercise regime that would make rocky bilboa think twice

ffs, i've been right round my permissions and not one of them has any f*^$% hazel trees can anybody supply me with some for long net poles, around 36" long in the derby/notts/burton/leicester area, i'll be ordering my longnets off mole catcher soon and i want to be prepared, i'll pay for them of course as well as collect and buy you a pint or three
  14. screwfix do them mate 20 quid shovel
  15. i'm led to believe that the mk2 was a duff bit of kit, so much so that deben offered a free/cheap upgrade to a mk3 for a while, keep the collar, throw the box away and get a mk1 box, mega reliable, easy to use and mk 1/2/3 collars work with it
  16. is this the new one with pinpoint facility ?
  17. this is why i don't like ferret courts, theres too many places for them to crap with no defined area for them to use, i have a two tier hutch in a shed, top half has sleeping box and feeding area and a hole in the floor with steps to the bottom half, this has woodshavings on the floor which they push up to one wall and use it to crap in, this half also has a pipe to allow them to access the play area which is outside the shed, this has a rubber mat on the floor and an openable tube to allow access to the garden for when i'm around to watch them. i find that by only putting woodshavings in on
  18. don't know how that happened bunnyboy ! if that were the case they wouldn't run the service would they ? anyone else had a bollocking from the NFR ?
  19. join the national ferret register and all your problems are solved mate NFR i'd have been glad to help but i'm in derby unfortunatley
  20. i have a hob and two jills, i got them off a bloke round the corner who fed them mainly on dry with the odd raw meal, i have managed to get the two jills taking raw with no problems, however, the hob prefers dry and won't eat raw meat, he'll lick it and take it in a corner, then he'll sit and eat dry till he's full ! so i have to put dry and raw in together, vet says all three are very healthy (perhaps a little fat ) so i'm not worrying...the dog, by the way, eats what it wants....dry, raw, fish and chips, eggs, full english etc, it eats anything, runs like a mad thing, weighs 6oz wet through
  21. i have 2 16 week old jills, one albino who is quite small and her polecat sister who is almost as big as my 2 year old polecat hob (vasectemised) the hob is a mug and just lies there while the jills beat him up and then sneaks off to sleep, the jills have always played and had fights and stuff but over the past few days they have started getting really violent, they have a good go at each other, bared teeth, arched backs, hissing and jumping about etc. they don't actually bite hard, they don't draw blood or anything and the little one gives as good as she gets and more they seem amiable tow
  22. i had similar a few years ago, it turned out that the rabbit carcase i put in had several tapeworm sacs under the skin, three of the kits were unfortunate enough to eat the eggs and bingo.....tapeworm ! when the vet examined them he found the worms almost completely filled the guts of the kits, he reckoned they had died through lack of nutrition but i still don't believe him......i no longer feed full carcase, i prepare the rabbit first just to be safe
