Clough, one of my bedlingtons I had, worked hard until he was over 2 year old then decided to dig at the entrance to holes, Keen enough, seemed all wound up but wouldn't go in past 2' without digging. It was like all the holes were to small for him to get in, When I tried other dogs (some bigger) they would push past where he had got to and right up to the quarry.. he tried my patience once to many times.. found him a new home Oh!!! and I got a 3yr old GSD that's now decided to shit in the kitchen in the middle of the night .... has never done anything like this before but f

  17. Alright Mate! As long as the bitch is Working and he's looking to breed workers, I can't see a problem. 1st crosses Hybrid vigour = workers... It's where he goes after this and why he's doing it would be the question. There are some good Bedlington dogs out there, that are working, perhaps he could look deeper into that line of breeding. We bred a rough coated black fell back to a bedlington and they turned out excellent workers, one of the bitches produced has recently been bred to a bedlington and thrown some typey pups, also some of the pups aren't so typey... time will t
