Ha Ha, I now feck all about bedlingtons, breeding I would say worker to worker, working lines just make sure it's worker to worker.. and saying that, all depends what type of work you going to do with it, if you want a dog for rabbiting bushing etc... little ole lurcher should do the trick... if you want a dog for digging....... patt, russell, lakey, or from bedlingtons that are doing it, doing it regularly, SINGLE HANDED... and their offspring are doing it, proven lines,,,,,,,,,, Bedlingtos are a strange breed, you need broad shoulders, and a great deal of patience.... Good luck...

Been out today, with Tag and Murphy.. Didn't go out with hunt so went for a stroll in the pissing down rain to see what was about. Both dogs of leads doing a bit of bushing, I decided to check a big earth that I know of, been empty for years but has shown signs of recent activity, giving that it was wet I thought it was worth a try. Tag has been giving me problems recently and I thought it's about time he started doing some proper work if he wanted to keep his kennel space. Put Murphy on lead entered Tag, he flew in the earth and just by that action I knew there was someone at home

Ey up all !!! Just a quickie, I've been nagging a guy that owns a bedlington bitch out of my old dog Yogi. Nagging, pestered the fecker for a few years now, offered him good money for it as well. Luck has it (for me) that he is not in a position to keep the bitch, so I parted with a few quid and bought it for myself... Will get some, pics up.. Also I've got Millies sire down here on loan, see what sort of dog he is in the flesh !!!!

Well done fella, nice to hear someone doing the proper job, excellent mate !!!!

I only commented, not slating you, just questioning.. backtrack boy, backtrack... FROM WHAT I HAVE READ AND WHAT YOU COMMENTED - "15months old and just an observation, maybe the photo.. the dog is close coupled......... oh! how was it bred again ??? are you sure ?? " FROM READING THIS IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT YOU ARE QUESTIONING THE OWNERS KNOWLEDGE OF THE DOG AND THE BREEDING OF THE DOG. YOU DONT KNOW THE

Tell us about them then, your dog for example how long has he stayed at his game, is he the type that goes to ground and you have to dig him or is he hit and miss, what has he done ?? numbers wise, how long is the longest he's stayed for, does he kill his foxes, deepest you've dug etc etc etc.. BECAUSE YOU HAVEN'T GOT ANY FFS....................... Failed KC show dogs that dont make the grade will inevitably end up in Working Shows, owners palming them of as workers because they chased a squirrel and these are the type that have and do spoil the workers... I won a Working Bedlington class with Tango at the Welsh Game fair many moons ago, in my mind she wasn't the best bedlington type their,, but and a big plus for her that she was obvioulsy worked.... Staley judged the show... I went to another show for Bedlingtons in Wales somewhere, took my dogs, George N was there and he

Im glad you're young, as you have that as excuse.... truth is, it's a pipe dream lad, it's never going to happen, were all the stories told in the past exagerated tales of super beddies... who knows ?? There are good bedlingtons out there, there are lads that dig there dogs I know, there are those who wouldn't dare post on internet sites but have good digging bedlingtons... the real addendum is, in general most bedlingtons are shit and a lot of terriermen wouldn't give them space in an empty kennel...
