    Horses for courses fella, I never said all lamped hares are easy, in my 'limited' experience and on the land I used to lamp it WAS EASY, in as much that we were taking 10+ hares in a night with two half tidy collie/mongrel type lurchers... I've never lamped a Fenn hare and probably never will, but in a percentage game HARES ARE A LOT EASIER ON THE LAMP.... that's a fact...

    This is a nice site Tallyho! I've been reading up on a few makes for a while now but one that seems to stand out for depth is the Minelab Explorer SE, some seem a bit complicated and way over the top! although a discriminator sounds like a handy tool.....     Well done Ian, there was a post on here last week similar thing Irish boys with 3 lurchers on a fox under the guise of "It's ok because it legal in Ireland' well done the mod who took it off, these are the kind of videos which got us banned, give us bad publicity and ultimately will get hunting banned in Ireland... Well done the mods...

    you can hear the dog clearly baying...... how do you know it's not 3 foot in to your right/left and shallow, just because someone else said it's 15' doesn't mean the dog is in 15'... sounds like you haven't really tried, hope he walks out for you otherwise you're leaving a good dog in the ground... Let us know, take some pics of the place...

    couple of dead cats outside a cubbing earth...... My barbour flat cap that I had left on the earth the previous season, I shook the bugs out of it and put it back on me head... dry as a board it was... plenty of old bottles, some were valuable.... ebay had them lots of dolls heads and stuff...
