it clearly says we were made in his image does it not!! his son was a human was he not !!! recorded history means history written in real time and there was no record of a world wide flood, a worldwide flood would have been recorded even if they worshipped daz liquatabs

was God a human being? i have asked that question at least twice, my reasoning is, we were made in his image and his son was a human being and fraz Egypt has the longest recorded history but there is no mention of a world wide flood

the bible says we were created in the image of the lord and his son was also human, so it would seem that the lord/God what ever you choose to call him was a human, it is also a fact that most of the stories in the bible are pre-dated by very similar tales. all of this is a far cry from faith, faith to me is a belief in something or someone, even yourself. every human needs faith as without it little would be achieved but as for every human needing religion, well that's a different kettle of fish altogether.

my origin is simple. i came from my parents and them from there's and so on. but as for a god/creator well that's not so clear cut is it, if it was then all humanity would be singing the off the same hymn sheet and blatantly there not, you believe what you think is correct, i reserve judgement until i see something to tip me either way but at this point in my life religion holds little value, the more i see of the death and destruction it wreaks upon this world the more i think screw that, i will give it a swerve. whilst man is not satisfied with just living his life rather than always wanting

just to follow on with my comment above, if scientists cloned a human then they would still be scientists not gods but if they had done the same thousands of years ago then due to " ignorance" they would have been revered as gods not scientists
