Forgive me being abrupt but "ARE YOU TAKING THE PISS?" The old RT is a tap loader You say that the loading mech is missing; if thats the case how the ell do you know that it loads and fires? You ask if it is a .177 or a .22? I am assuming that because you say it loads and fire's you have some pellets and should be able to answer your own question Again, sorry for being abrupt, I'm not trying to be offensive, but your post just doesn't ring true to me! depends what you after, the steady type is not much good here as its mainly small pasture you need something to really get up fast and strike, so the do or die merchant fits the land better here and for the type of work i do, if i was a ferreting man then the opposite would apply.

be carefull with a 22r/f around horses, a ricochet is not recomended. the stud farm i shoot on i only use fac air as 17hmr is to noisy aswell

there really skittish mate, when i was breeding for hawk food i built a 3 tier hutch arrangement with a slope towards the front for the eggs to roll down they were only 9" high.and dont put them in with chickens like i did fookers killed and ate them I know someone that usually breeds a few. Knew they were great little egg layers but i never knew they were skittish.... ::most prelific breeding bird in the world, use to incubate 200 at a time in an old turnex incubator and brooder
