    Yes I know it's silly & impractical, but the Belgians like to have a unique glass for each beer. Buying the glass with a pack of beer is usual stuff here & this was a new one for me.........

    They stamped out running dogs maybe a hundred years ago in most of north west europe......why? Nothing to do with perceived cruelty as I understand, but more protecting land & game for the gun or the privileged, however you want to see it. It's never going to come back & the more I think about it, something similar has happened in the UK under the guise of a supposed hunting with dogs ban. Keep hold of what you've got left ffs, because the only people who can legally hunt round here, are those that can afford it with a gun. Atb

    Having thought about it a bit now, people in general do tend to over react in these situations, do they not? I remember years ago about to board a plane back from New York, when it was cancelled due to a crack in the windscreen, a bit of a pisser, but we were all offered a night at a decent hotel near the air port until the next day, I thought "fcuking yes!" Haha......However, there was a limited amount of seats left on another flight, first come first served, Jesus Christ!!! The scene that took place next was reminiscent of the evacuation of Saigon!     Every culture is different though Hindus for example probably think we are heathens for eating cow ...meat is meat whatever way you look at it .just treat the animal with the respect it deserves for feeding you that's all . Trouble is, most people haven't got a clue how their every day meat has been treated, you just hope for the best really or do you really care if it's not pet-like?
