  1. have a little think about it mate. I'm no expert hunter, admittedly but I'd have gone for the head personally, as the meat wouldn't be spoilt Educate me?
  2. May be best to read the 1st two comments
  3. One better than none, as said but check out pages on here, plenty of recipe ideas
  4. Haha what a knob. Good hunting tip too
  5. Perhaps best to edit the title
  6. There's a few accounts with witty locations, unfortunately like this, it doesn't help when you're trying to sell stuff that people have to ask where you are
  7. Hahaha, here's were being "witty" comes to bite back
  8. Welcome neighbour, Like Twymanc said, warm into the site. Permissions hold a value when everyone is after one, so, in affect you do have to earn them and best way is to get to know people and let them to get to know you throughout the forum. Things to consider would be to upload a profile picture, write about yourself on your profile page: a quick bio or just what you're on here for and look over the forum as to interests you have or even experiences you'd like to share. I hope you enjoy the forum, Grae
  9. Cheers guys, currently looking to purchase a hefty load of pellets for both .22 and .25 On the list I've got an array of pellet types but namely JSB, Bisley, H&N, RWS and BSA's* * to at least say I've tried them and for the price, if they suck there's no loss. May ever try and record some shots at the range with them and give feedback on here Grae
  10. cheers guys, i may get some for my .22 as theyre not available for my .25 but i'm assuming, in general theyre a decent pellet brand to use?
  11. Looking for any Helle knives going, doesn't matter what state they're in but it will reflect in the price paid. Don't be afraid to message me, Grae
  12. This is Blaser R93 in .243 Win Wow! Beautiful rifle, a teeny tiny bit out of my price bracket but one for the wish list Thanks for sharing and keep up the good work
  13. The worst they can say is no, but you could always leave your details if they need you in future though. Be positive about it
  14. Probably asked a few times but what rifle are you using? I am interested in the tech specs but i am a complete noob to this side of the rifles so bare with me Very well done with the hunt, a great start to the year Grae
  15. Very nice rifles, I wouldn't mind a Hatsan when I join the PCP world
  16. Secretagentmole is throwing in some good tips, take note. Personally, I'd go and ask the officials (police/council)- as much as there are reputable people on here, It could only take the wrong information or misguided advice to land you in a lot of trouble. Yet again, if you should do so and gain an FAC and the right equipment/storage, you'll be better off than most on here at your level All the best, Grae
  17. Hey guys, Managed to have a little mooch around with the last of some birthday money for some more pellets and keep stumbling across Bisley, more so as they have an array of pellets for the .25 and not so much different in price compared to the RWS SuperDomes I'm using now. Wouldn't mind some for the .22 too, of course, but I'm just researching opinions to see what they're like in general: feedback and any specific pellets to try for either caliber? Much appreciated for anything you can submit Grae
  18. Mushroom, ever seen Hot Fuzz? That's how policing works in the midlands
  19. Welcome to the forum. Best thing to do is warm in to the site, tell us a little about yourself and learn about events in your area and see if you can make any buddies in your area (or surroundings) who MAY take you on. Information like that doesn't come for free, unfortunately, so it is a matter of getting out and asking or making friends- and there's some great people here too! Enjoy the forum anyhow and hope to hear more about you Grae
  20. First of all, welcome to the forum. Where about on the Wirral are you from? Secondly, the font: doesn't matter where in Cheshire you are, that font is still too posh for you hahaha May have to try the North awakes Shooting school sometime, possibly catch you there. My old employers (Iceland foods ltd) aren't too far from there which would make an excellent target Hope you enjoy the forum anyhow and look forward to hearing more about you. Grae
  21. Is that the Victorinox Hunter? any good for hunting or just a gimmick in the name to sell more? Jane's is alright if you like fishing haha! although i think they have more of an array of knives than they do rifles- perhaps my problem? I've noticed other than Jane's, my nearest gun shop is Birmingham and the way wellington is going, they could always open another store for the rifles :-/
