I think in Turkey they use a type of Kangal called the Boz shepherd dog

I'm no expert but when I've been on the mastiff forums they say that the Kangals bred in the USA are way softer then the ones that you see in Turkey. According to some Lab, & Golden retriever has been added to the Kangal bloodline in the USA. If It was me personally I would want to use the Alabai. But I'm no expert
