Hi steve i am with you all the way on the target shooting and i must admit i have done a lot in all weather conditions the longest shot to date on live quarry with the 17hmr is 156 yards fox head shot and yes it still dropped it like a stone so why do some people still say that its not for fox .
-
Thanks lads its just some people say its not good enough beyond 50/60 yards myself i have no problems at 100 yards and beyond with a well placed shot , and sjacko i use cz452 and would recomend it to anyone however mine has a fully floated barrel .
-
This fox was taken at 100 yards using cz 452 hmr and the nighteye500lr your views on weather hmr is a suitable calibar for fox beyond fifty yards please

"You can" sell it and buy a ne500 with the money you then have the equivalent of a ns200 for a lot less money job done .
-
Try the BBS lots of info about the ne500 and the ne500lr on there seems like theres a lot of lads on there with them .
-

-
I'am of the same opinion as firblade i did try one of the very first rear add on's from soviat bazar many years ago and didn't get on with it at all there was no chance of sholdring the gun it had to be held almost at arms length to be able to look through it which was no good to me .

hi guys is anyone taking any nv gear to this meet so the lads can have a play and see what's what -
Hi Brian Thanks for the advice sounds like it will be about right for my 223 and 17hmr what scopes have you used these on i have a sidewinder 6-24-56 on the 17hmr and a mk4 lupold on the 223 dont want to have to change scopes if i can help it .
-
Hi Daytyper Have you been out with the nighteye500lr again yet if you have how did you get on with it, a review and your opinion of it would be appreciated .
-
Photon not sure about these my thoughts are every time you come to fit it to a different gun you will have to re zero , and the shooting position of the nighteye or ns200 does take a little getting used to but once you have used the a time or two its easy. just read the reviews on the forums from the lads that use them to find out which is the better of them
-
its a day scope addaptor it fits to the eyebell of your scope and then to the camera unit of the nighteye500 or ns200 giving a ridgid connection instead of the rubber tubes supplyed with this sort of kit just google day scope addaptor .
-
Hi Chirsjpainter most do away with the rubber mount that comes with these kind of kits and opt for a DSA, These come with a selection of rings to fit all scopes and are far better than any rubber fitting , I use a pulsar challenger G1 This makes a total ridgid mount between the scope and the camera unit and saves having to reposition the camera all the time to center the ret on the screen . hope this helps .

cover the dog in mint sauce
-
Hi Gafer what pulsar are you using with your r10 and what cal 177 or 22
-
Hi daytyper did you get out lastnight if you did what are your results how are you finding the ne500lr and can i ask what scope and gun your using .
-
Hi guys it does take a bit of time to get used to it but once you have got it, you have got it, useing this system in the daytime target shooting at different ranges will help and also knowing the land you shoot over extremely well makes all the difference this is what i found .Can i ask what guns your shooting ,i use mine on 17hmr for rabbit around 180yds or so but i can see much furthur and on my bsa ultra for ratting .
