  7. Hyphen, rat terriers are not earth dogs and there are many Americans that have earth working terriers and work them as such. Check a couple of the American message boards out and you can possibly hook up with someone that can give you some more direction.

  9. That's the first thread I read that didn't say "well done mate and cheers"

  15. Now that would be a serious project. LOL
  16. Swanseajack, I found all of your posts about the Bedlington very interesting. I agree with "to each their own" It is a big challenge to work with a breed that has suffered so. I call it a project because they had to be worked with by given them a dose of Lakeland and such. The same would apply to the sealyham. You can't take nothing and make something. You got to keep adding a little something each time until you come up with something. Keep at it and my hats off to you.
  17. One thing at a time. The Bedlington project is still going on !
  18. Wrong there Potter, Mick was about 1980
  19. Duckwing, the picture of the pup's father definately looks the part of a John Park terrier. Tell me who he is out of and if it came directly from John himself.
  20. Stabs, it obviously must have clicked if you still have the boy, but tell me have you bred him and what has he produced ? I like to breed mine close as well but I'm wondering when I am going to hit a dead end. You've got to bring in fresh blood sooner or later.
