  1. Ditch Shitter, if you use that phrase , I would take the word "probably" out of it.
  2. hello tim ...do you know how to treat this problem ? i have a bedlington bitch that suffers with this i have tried everything ..i have allways fed my dogs on omega many thanks bobby Bobby, maybe someone would be kind enough to look up a good vet supply place on your side of the pond. There are many products to take care of yeast infections, but not sure if the ones for the ear are the same for the feet. Any anti fungal cream should work. Similar to what you would use for ringworm.
  3. It's a yeast infection. They usually get it in the ears, but some have it in the web of their feet.
  4. Kane's got the better idea, and make sure they're good workers and got something in common but are not all brothers and sisters
  5. How's the rough haired red dog working on the coons for ya Kye ?
  6. Why did you spray paint his face ! lol
  7. I'd keep him from biting anything but fur or your going to wish your dog could get a new set of teeth. Nice looking dog
  8. Maybe it is just the picture, but the bitch looks to have a pound on her.
  9. "Working terrier" should have the same meaning as "earthdog". That is where they should earn their keep. As far as an allarounder, I agree. I want my terriers to work anything below the ground.
  10. Some of the nicest Russells I have seen
  11. What would you use it for Twelsh ?
  12. Sure been alot of nice looking wee lakie pictures going up lately.
  13. If he has it in him, he won't know what a fox smells like if he has never smelt one, but what he will know is that when he smells one for the first time it will be something that he wants to get to. lol
  14. Lucky, I don't think it will upset anyone because you got him laid out in a respectful manner with his brush combed real nice.
  15. True thing Dillon and you have your share as well as evidenced by this board
  16. Hastings, get on an American site. There are plenty that keep terriers in America that do the job that a terrier should.
  17. Well, the Lakeland could have been kenneled and given no attention and now Hastings has her and has made her a house dog. No need to bark anymore is there. Her panting may be do to too many snacks ? Is the dog overweight ?
  18. Well, I guess the Nuttall dogs are still seeing some work. I heard a few talk of the Mickey dog out of Rocky. The Rocky in your pedigree must not be the one sent to the states as he was not out of Foxey and Trixie.
  19. The individuality or personality of true terrier breeds are being lost as we speak, for more are breeding for the qualities on the outside and not on the inside. The individuality or personality of workers whether white, red, or black are pretty much the same. Workers are calm, steady, focused, committed, determined, and relentless. What individuality were you looking for ?
  20. Does the dog yodell and then not find ? I think he is a little eager. I know of one here in the states that is A-1 when on game, but he has been known to yodell a few times when noone was at home. Also, it gives the game a littlle heads up.
  21. TJ..... We hear a lot about entering dogs early over the pond . I've read recently of people expecting them to show their mettle at 5 months old , to me that is pure lunacy . Also read on numerous occasions a certain aquaintance   of yours boastfully saying how 5 and 6 month old pups from a certain "strain" have 1 -2 hour digs under their belts . I'd be interested to hear your view on this mindset many have over there . And also what age do you yourself consider the dogs you keep to be mentally ready for the job in hand ?. Those that work their dogs at 5 months don't
