I got my 10 week old pup on crickets. I lift an old board and out pop the crickets and the pup is going wild killing crickets and stuffing its nose into the ground trying for them. I am chuffed.

I would say the opposite seems more true. I've rarely read posts in the lurcher section that one didn't refer to their lurchers as " keen as mustard" Seems not matter what two you put together most will say their's are excellent on the lamp and catch two out of three. Will someone get real on how many of these lurchers or longdogs actually make the grade. You guys are getting me to believe that 100 % or nearly 100% make the grade.

In the states a staghound is a sighthound bred for many generations that started with infusions of the various sighthound types. Deerhound is part of their makeup.
