firstly make sure the cage , and ferrets are clean healthy and well handled and looked after . if they are you are half way to a good ferret . pick which ever ferret you like , doesnt matter if its quiet or bouncing about all over the place , when a litter is together they all tend to be a bit nuts , and all bite, when they are seperated thats when you find out what they are like . finally try and get a hob from a different litter if you decide to breed them later on you are not line breeding straight away
