i bet you would enjoy this site http://www.geocaching.com/seek/nearest.aspx good fun and you get to see some interesting parts of the country you will have to put your postcode in to see whats nearest to you . if you put the cordinates into google earth http://earth.google.com/ you can get a satelite picture of the area aswell .

you get what you pay for with these lenses if you can afford it great . but the cheaper way is to buy a 2x convertor and use a smaller lense .

which state do you live in as some states have banned the breeding of ferrets you will have to check the laws in your area , do you want to work your ferrets or show them , try and get yourself a good book i recomend http://www.amazon.com/Ferret-Breeding-Mode...554&sr=1-21 . if you have any specific questions about breeding post them here and i will try and answer them and if i cant help someone else will know the answer . .... all the best Ade

been watching this court coming nicely for a while now and i know how much hard work you have put into well done it looks fantastic . have you put wire mesh on the ladders as i think small ferrets will have a job climbing them otherwise , also where you got the blue box i would have put a full size cage ready for next season when you have to separate the hobs and jills . all the best Ade

gutted for you . do you and your mate live near each other has his ferrets been in contact with yours whose hob did you use to breed them , dont think it can be the food unless you and your mate are using the same meat , have you got anymore ferrets all the best let us know how you get on .

firstly make sure the cage , and ferrets are clean healthy and well handled and looked after . if they are you are half way to a good ferret . pick which ever ferret you like , doesnt matter if its quiet or bouncing about all over the place , when a litter is together they all tend to be a bit nuts , and all bite, when they are seperated thats when you find out what they are like . finally try and get a hob from a different litter if you decide to breed them later on you are not line breeding straight away

get down to your builders merchants and buy a couple of metres of land drain (its 100mm flexible pipe with tiny holes in it ) its fairly cheap and you can bend it any way you want , gives the ferrets more of an idea about going up and down different levels like a warren .

stoaty asked to see some bigger pictures of my avatar so heres some pictures of my dog flynn beddy whippet cross but has thrown back to the whippet side of things . hes a year now and has been hard work to train still not quite there yet (put that down to the trainer rather than the dog ) excellant with the ferrets and thats what i wanted him for .

didnt he make a documentary about the king of the gypsies and was trying to get the money together to make a film of it . after this is england he should have no trouble getting the money together . stoaty i will put some pictures of my dog in the running dog section .
