look best think to do is contact the nearest rescue & arrange to go there , they will allow you to handle dozons of ferrets , then if you do get one, get a neutered ferret from a rescue , no need to worry about seasons & possible problems with behavoiur at that time of year excelent advice

you had one response of advice which i expect is from someone who didn't see the one about your brothers ferret. the dog wasn't mentioned until the second page most of your responses to this thread are from people saying don't get a ferret. and all for the same reason its not because people want to have a go at you but when an animals welfare is concerned every one wants the best possible out come edit to say the dog is only mentioned twice in three page

I'm not trying to have a go but the same people who are Reading this thread read the one about you walking past an empty water bottle for two days so mentioning that you intend to buy is going to provoke the response you got. if you had just said I'm trying to over come my fear etc etc. the response would of been totally different you would of got lots of advice because people would respect/admire you for trying to over come this fear and then when the time comes for you to own a ferret in a year or so depending on how it goes you would then be congratulated for you success, so can you see wha

in that case why say before you buy all that did was make people think less of you if you had worded your post differently as i stated in my first post you would of got lots of good advice. on the subject of this site not being as good as others, why are you still here then? as i said think how your posts could be perceived by others then type.

But then are these animals being looked after properly , fed a species appropriat diet, getting water, veterinary attention when its needed , its all very sad whatever the truth is its this that stops me from just ignoring her

I dont know why anyone even bothers to reply to requests for advice as she never takes it , she was advised to take a terrier to the vets as it had a distorted stomach & suspected '' bloat'' , then it magically went away . I really get annoyed when people take the trouble to post with good sound advice & its just ignored & yet another thread started once the threads decended into a slanging match i know what your saying Kay and i think it was you who voiced what i have thought all along that its just for attention. which is very sad i cant help thinking that if she needs

stick to reading up on them and go out with your mates ferrets as much as possible if they own ferrets then their is relay no need for you to own one as you can work as a team with you and your dogs. if you have this deep rooted fear it will always be there have a look at you tube and their war dance i don't think you will be able to pick a ferret up while its doing this ask straight forward questions learn, a much as you can if you had phrased your question- trying to understand ferrets, so as to be less afraid. you would of got a lot of help. please think before you type as you put

the forces are a safe bet in terms of security. its not the best paid job in the world but its pretty hard to get thrown out unless you are caught doing drugs. accommodation provided and opportunity to acquire qualifications for civie life afterwords.

Well done on your outing, keep it up. try using small balloons. broken glass spread everywhere.....? it was on my mates farm where it doesnt matter but balloons could be fun as would be easier to put in difficult places well done girl keep up the god work. just a small note im not having a go, littering matters wherever you are small birds hedgehogs etc etc could be injured by broken glass. i was taught as a child leave the countryside as you found it. IE take litter home fill in holes close gates etc. its just good etiquette. -

The train was quite crowded, so a U. S. Marine walked the entire length looking for a seat, but the only seat left was taken by a well dressed, middle-aged, French woman's poodle. The war-weary Marine asked, "Ma'am, may I have that seat?" The French woman just sniffed and said to no one in particular, "Americans are so rude. My little Fifi is using that seat." The Marine walked the entire train again, but the only seat left was under that dog. "Please, ma'am. May I sit down? I'm very tired." She snorted, "Not only are you Americans rude, you are also arrogant!" This time the

signed hop it makes a difference, about ten years ago we had a horses slashed with a Stanly knife (snapped blade found in the wound) and a hay Lorry set fire which had one of our drivers asleep in the cab which exploded( he got out just in time) and set fire to to main barn which was full of mares and foals thankfully everyone made a full recovery. but it could of been a very different story.

as i said before there are good and bad in every nationality i think this thread has just turned in to another slanging match if we all had the same opinions this world would be a very dull place so guys state your opinion and leave it at that just because you feel a certain way doesn't make you right. so why don't you all agree to disagree.

i was reported to the rspca for blindfolding my horses. when they turned up i showed them what the person was on about, they are fly masks to keep the fly's out of there eyes for those that don't know they are a fabric mesh which is woven to be see through at close range. they apologized for waisting my time and left.
