Out for first light this morning after the boxing ...had a difficult stalk in very still conditions...managed to get into a doe just of some of my game crop and a good clean kill of the sticks at around 150 . venison steaks for shooting party this week

He mistakenly went over a young bitch of mine before either had started working and the 2 pups were given to lads who knew that both parents were untested...I have dug to one of them a few times over the years and he’s a decent earth dog but I’ve no idea if he is as versatile as Nip but that’s more to do with he hasn’t been given the opportunity. ive never put him over a bitch and if I don’t I will probably regret it i was tempted to put him over a lurchers bitch of mine as I think they could of produced something handy but went another route

Out of a bitch called gypsy who’s breeding was questionable I’m sure there was an article on here by Butler on her and dillydogs Jim dog . if I was only allowed to keep one dog in my kennels it would be him which shows just how high a regard I have for this wee dog
