New sites for sons HW99s arrived today ( Hawke 2-7x32) but, opened them out the box to have a look at them and while I was turning the ao ring I heard a loud pop like gas escaping. Now in all the years I've had guns I have never had this happen,so is it gonna be a problem or should it be ok ? Thanks for any replys.

I bought one of these kits in 12 ft/lb with a spare spring and seal for a 95 whilst waiting to buy said gun from a friend,and typically the deal fell through. No worries though as the kit will be there for when I do get round to buying a 95 lol. -
One things for sure that bill wont be getting me to pay up for it .

Fieldsporthunter How old them pups now the white pup looks like a bitch I had called flick years ago thou. The pups are 9 this year, lad still owns that white bitch,had it since it was 6 weeks old mate. -

Best dog I had was a first cross Bedlington/Greyhound I bought in early 90s. He had it all speed,stamina,determination, ruthless and the best strike I've ever seen in over 35 years of owning Lurchers. He was a monster on Fox and Deer but sadly never produced nothing like himself when I bred him.

Crimes of this magnitude can only be hidden from the media/courts/prosecution by the "elite" of the Establishment. And its happening in lots of other countrys not just Britain. I posted a link on another thread about the MPs and its all in the Public domain but nothing is being done about it.

1 Johnson 2 Louis 3 sullivan 4 Ali 5 Foreman 6 Dempsey 7 Holmes 8 Lewis 9 Tyson 10 Holyfield Fighting was the easy part for Johnson and Louis.Throughout Johnson and Louis careers they were fighting knowing that they could be killed,just like plenty of other blacks did everytime they won.I believe the fighters from before the Wars were a lot tougher and the fights back then where never stopped on cuts/injuries.The more modern fighters had bettter training /nutrition but the fights where not as rough/brutal as the pre war years.

It might have been this one actually lads.Mickey Vann kicked the towel out the ring in the Kadtidis v Earl fight. I had Khan mixed up with Kastidis .

Not 100% but I think it might of been in one of Khans fights I seen ,when he was well on top and the other fighters corner threw the towel in and the ref threw it out.

Gnasher I think like you say had Lewis/Bowe fought at the time he put the belt in the bin , had it happened around that time, we could have seen a classic. Had it happened later on I would have favoured Lewis comfortably and he was a better fighter under Manuel Steward. ( not sure when Lewis first fought under Steward though ) Bowe had it all but just didn't seem to achieve his full potential, who could forget the three fights with Holyfield. Another fighter who went down a wrong path and could have been a great Heavyweight I think was Ike Ibeabauchi.

Gnasher as you say Tyson was knocked out by the greatest fighters of his era, so on that analysis where would you rank Lewis ? Lewis was knocked out twice off fighters who were anything but the greatest of there era. I know what your saying but regards to the Lewis/Tyson fight that took place sixteen years after Tyson won his first belt,Lewis full career wasnt even as long as that. I think during that era Bowe was a wasted talent who achieved a lot but could have achieved even more,who would you have fancied between Bowe/Lewis ?

Much the same as when Lewis got stopped by Rahman...Lewis took his eye off the prize...it happensBoth of them Allegedly unbeatable aswell,arrogance sometimes is really ignorance and they both learned a hard lesson.

I agree Busters mind was steeled with the loss of one of his parents,as for Tyson he just thought he had to turn up to win,partying,skipping training. I'm pretty sure Tyson was to meet Holyfield later that year in Atlantic City. Buster fought out his skin that night and Tyson didn't.Buster hadn't done nothing as a fighter for anybody to think he would ever beat Tyson and that's why the odds were so big. Buster done nothing after the Tyson fight either which is why I say he got the Tyson fight at the right time.
