    Every gate up where we hunt has bits of rope tied round them then wire in through the lock hole.     My days of buying dogs is well over don't think I ever need to buy another dog hopefully after 6 years of hunting I get bit of sense lol,I used to get advice about top dogs years ago of a top hunting man those dogs were bad but it worked cause yourmans dogs looked top class to the ones I was buying lol ha ha times have changed I going to start breeding my own now when I am stuck hopefully they do me proud, at least if you breed yer own you know what you have.and if they dont turn out to suit ya you cant start the blame game. some dirt bred round that belfast.

Nans pat would in there right mind would run a 5 month old pup fs. A dog is a pup until its over 18 months in my eyes. Nothing wrong with running a pup doubled up. In lreland you need to. Nothing wrong with learning from an older dog. we only run them in packs on the summer nights at 5 or 6 mths.
