  4. I had a 3/4 bred he was just like a big greyhound 28tts and he stopped plenty of hares but I doubt he would of made much of a fen dog, he was more suited to mooching about hunting his hares up

  6. Is that a pure saluki daz? Very unusual markings, well, to me anyway, not seen one marked like that, very nice dog No he's 3/4 saluki 1/4 whippet, he's actually tri coulour there's a good few of the gingery tan spots on him especially round his muzzle, a boy asked me other day if he was saluki x dalmation
  7. Pups doing well, we squeeked a big dog fox in other night there didn't think he was going to come but cuiriosty got the better of him and he came steam rolling in, only for my mate to slip his dog to early and the canny old fox skipped into a wood before the dog even got on terms, hopefully bump into that fox again on a frosty morning with the terriers
  8. Be a handy wee lamp for nipping out for a quick hour or 2 and its a cheap backup incase your 170 etc are knackered

Just a recent picture of the pup I kept back, 12 weeks old tomorrow, really like the way she is shaping up she's going to have a nice long back and good powerful front end, she coping well with recall training and doing ok with the bit of retreiving we have done, fingers crossed she turns out handy

  20. But when I think about It I be lucky to get a run at 1 or 2 lol so i am doing well lol Same as me capt, I'm in the south west coast of scotland and I can imagine our land being pretty some much the same lots of fences, hedges, woods etc and its unheard of a dog killings 4s/5s here, a lot of the time we'r lucky to even get 2/3 runs and a lot of the time the hares know every trick in the book and I'd say it takes a good dog to kill them regular around here
