I know what you meant socks its just that others might have perceived it differently,all i meant to say that you know your dogs capabilities,others might not be so lucky if they dont have the same experience then dont push cos inevitably it will result in dissaster,its better to be slow and cautious than tip a pup over its capabilities,once a pup is spoilt it takes a lot to bring back!!

Well done socks glad your pup did the biz,but surely you pushed that pup to his limit,anyone with a little less experience could have easyly gone too far and tipped him over the edge thus giving the dog a very short racing career,i dont know anything about racing,only working and we all push our dogs that little bit extra when ready unfortunately not everyone can tell when their dogs are ready and a lot are ruined very quickly so people beware dont take your pups too far,if you have little experience in bringing dogs on please go easy the rewards will come in time push your pups and you will r

Pesonally lb id poison but with mice you will get a very high sucsess rate trapping they dont suffer the same problems with shyness that rats do!!!

Thanks turk,yes it was a good fox i didnt weigh him but he was definately up there with the best of them,2nd 3rd season dog fox taken about jan feb,good strong healthy the way i like to see em,taken by the two as a team the brindle bull bitch will do the job on her own although id have liked her to go 24" 25" she only made 23",the deerhond collie grey is no good single handed she has a heart like a lion doubled up,she's eight now but run selectively goes all night...il send some better pics of the bull soon ive also got a 1/8 bull 1/8 deerhound 3/4 greyhound dog pup coming on he's only 9 month

Not on the lowlands but higher up tregaron/pontrhydfendigaid, the mountain areas of wales yes,im not saying that they dont cross there but the breed is certainly a lot purer,hopefully anyway!!! i wouldnt wanna risk killing a pure bred theres no keepering there so theres a good chance...

Fair play chili most people would kill a polecat,nice to know there are some boys out there a little conservation minded got a few pure bred polecats around here,but we get a lot of crossers which we do knock,tho the higher up you go the purer the breed gets...

The old breedin always did the job for me,shame we lost it now we could really improve on it with a dash of bull blood,red and my pups always had the fire inside not like a lot of stuff theese days pal

Remeber him i think about him every day,and the two i kept outta him,the best lurchers i ever had cramp,the red dog had a twisted gut and died at about six,the bitch i retired to a pet home,i bred a litter nine pups,all were epileptic bar a dog i gave to my brother,I dont talk to him now the dog hasnt seen a rabbit for about two years f****in wanker,il copy some pics of the two as they should be remembered if you want,got some really tidy action shots...i know how much you loved that dog!!! thanks for makin me smile!!! Not as far as i know lb ive always given eggs,can't beat them for protein,a million marathon runners/weight lifters cant be wrong they're in most training proggrams!!

As a dog warden i was trained by the dogs trust it was spent one afternoon in a local rescue,the dogs trust train to a very high standard and dont give the chips out unless they feel confident it sounds quite bad that a dog needed to be chipped three times,unless they were short staffed or the people holding the dog was'nt competent(not that untrained staff would be chipping i meant holding)other than that it seems a bit dodgy could you tell me what show and the date/describe the dog il have a chat with the dogs trust see what their opinion is!!
