  4. unlucky tone just goes to show [bANNED TEXT],my gos hit me same place as yours about two weeks ago....its the weather i think [bANNED TEXT] its so up and down they dont know wether theyre coming or going.....this weather just doesnt halp gauge theyre metabolic rate!!! appetite is all over the place!!!
  5. bottom line is hes a whippetxgreyhound hes built and designed for rabbits and the odd hare...yes occasionally a fox will fall to this breeding but try doing it week in week out theres a difference between nailing half a dozen a year to 100+ whippet greyhounds wont and never will cut it in the foxing field theyre not single handed fox dogs end of story.. what he acheveivs the next time hel only fail another.....you should know your dogs downfalls and live with it.....
  6. The apbt wasnt only used because of its superior aggression/prey drive..the main key factors are 1.breeding 2.height 3.length of back 4.length of leg and 5.superior athletisism lets face it the staff although aggressive enough hasnt the height length or athletisism of an apbt they just dont make a superiour enough cross nor does anything else in the bull blooded breeding...bottom line is pound for pound there is no other dog can cut it!!! this has been proven a very long time!!!
  7. Lord Orford put the bull into the greyhounds ,but it wan't Staffie he used it was English Bull terrier. No mate, it was bulldogs that Orford used. English Bull Terriers didn't even exist when he made the crosses. I know a very well respected terrierman and he ratesa particular staff x as the best terrierman's lurcher he's ever seen. TESS!
  8. DOES IT REALLY MATTER MATE! Not unless you go around shouting at people as often as you can lol, little aggressive id say
  9. definately and it has been done its just funny why its never stayed!!! problem is now most lurchers are lurcher to lurcher bred almost a pure breed of theyre own!!!
  10. there was a spate of these dogs a good few years back did ok....i just think the lurcher to lurcher breeding was too strong eventually they were bred out!!! definatley a viable option of rabbit ting dog though!!! 2nd cross would be better!!!
  11. For me it has to be the hungarian vizsla...its a very versatile breed...whichever you go for always make sure you get something from working strain....theres a lot of stuff being bred with the pretence of being worked.... good luck with what you go for [bANNED TEXT] have a look at my site i have quite a few good pics on the vizsla www.gazven.co.uk all the best [bANNED TEXT] Gaz

I just like the look of the carbine its light 6lb compact pretty good as far as jam ups are concerned....plus the 20 shot capacaty with the double clip appeals to me less phaffing around in the dark.... bet it balances out pretty nicely as its so short... its also the take apart ability i like makes life so much easyer when it comes to cleaning down etc.....
