Spotted an advert in Airgun world /shooter mag ( i forget which) and it's not very well
  3. Played since i was about 10 years old and have had some pretty tasty injuries (ruptured kidney on my 18th to name but one) but every time i did i'd get patched up on the sideline and get back to it. When i was about 18-20 our 1st & 2nd squads would sometimes both be at home and i'd be one of the guys daft enough to play both games back to back. We're just not made of the same stuff, I think in 18 years i've never had a sin-bin / sending off!! You're taught that the ref's in charge and they must be obeyed no matter how crap they are or how that pass would have made an NFL quarterback p
  4. I've got a 6800mah & 9800mah one off ebay and both work perfectly with my NS50. I have however put an inline fuse on them just in case they decide to pop, don't mind a £20 battery dying but i don't want it taking the nitesite out aswell Got mine from 97k-toprated and took just less than 2 weeks for delivery. The 6800mah is the same size as an iphone 5 and the 9800mah is about 5mm bigger all the way around. Both fit in a pouch on the stock (mines a camera bag)
  5. I've sent an email off last night to Air arms last night asking them to confirm when my S200 was amde and what Mk it would be and today they've replied. It was made 08.08.2011..... Which I'm guessing would make the action a Mk2? Anyone know when they swapped Mk1-2-3?? I've seen a couple of posts through google with Mk3's that were made before mine, But mines a Mk1/2 stock...... Very confusing
  6. I've got a few permissions and most will be left from now until winter as the population has been controlled to a lowish level and i'm not in to wiping out for the sake of it. The exception is My brothers pad and his missus' paddocks so eradication if possible is required, If it's a rabbit, it's fair game. The Rats however get it all year round
  7. You don't mean shroud, You mean barrel band
  8. the wife is allergic to oranges. even being in the same room as someone peeling onsets off a major attack
  9. Get yourself some off Ebay You want 3mm ID 1mm C/S for the .177 (same as mine) £5.15 for 100. Hmmm for some reason i can't embed the link??? www.ebay.co.uk/itm/METRIC-NITRILE-RUBBER-O-RINGS-CROSS-SECTION-1MM-VARIOUS-SIZES-AVAILABLE-/221096113455?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&var=&hash=item337a5af52f
  10. The Simmons were on my S200 before i bougth a set of Hawke 4-12 x 50 for it so i know there's nothing wrong with that scope. The mounts have been on and off a few times during refurb so maybe they've pinched/dented and won't tighten properly anymore? I tried chasing the zero all over before i caught on and kept aiming at the same spot without adjustment, Shot after shot gave a virtually straight line up and right. i.e. always aimimng at 0 5th 4th 3rd 2nd 1st 0 I think i'll get a one-piece and try it for the sake o
  11. I've got an old BSA supersport .177 that my dad bought me when i was 12 and have recently refurbed it all (new spring, polished internals, new seals etc. etc.) and it's shooting lovely at 10.5 ft.lbs. When I've been taking my mate out i've been using my S200 and loaning him the supersport and wondering why he's hitting bugger all so last weekend i decided to set the zero again. 25 yards and first shot was a good foot high and right, finally got within 10mm but now every time i adjust for the POI difference it seems to walk another 10mm up and right (the crosshair is moving when adjusti
  12. I've done my old BSA Supersport. Loaded it up with a Titan Xs mainspring, new seals, polished internals etc. It came out at about 14 ft.lb Couple of coils off and it's now at a steady 10.6 ft.lb and smooth as you like
  13. Not the best quality but all i've got on my phone at work
  14. Jack Pyke tough Tape in English Oak one full roll covered the barrel, silencer and both parts of the stock Just need to warm it with a hair dryer a little for some of the tighter curves.
  15. Managed out with my older brother last week for a few hours and managed to bag a few bunnies not often we get out together now as he's working away a lot. Brother bagged 3 with his Bowkett tuned R-10 and i got 2 with my S200 both of us using NS50's Best night we've had in a while and by far the best shooting we've done. All were unsupported standing shots and all dropped like stones first shot. Most of them were 30-40 yards and last one was an easy 20 yarder. All butchered and chucked in the freezer for later One was still having muscle twitches 30-45 minutes after death and
  16. Mine likes H&N barracuda match 4.52 (10.65 grain), tighter groups than the bisleys and just as good as AA Diabolos but harder hitting. Fill mine to 190 and get 40-45 shots with a diff of 15 fps (690-705) before dropping off steadily by about 3-4 fps per shot. If filled to 200 it's first 10 shots are 680 ish until it hits the sweet spot.
  17. Definitely Bowkett, Brothers R10 is beautiful to shoot and lifetime warranty on everything he's done
  18. Two out of my mums 3 cats have .177's lodged in their backs Has to be some scrote with a £30 chinese rifle as they're only just under the skin on both, can even tell which way they're facing they're that shallow. As for the RSPCA, much the same opinion as everyone else
  19. They've also got the Hawke Sport HD 4-12x50 AO IR for £65, I've had a fair amount of gear from them and like most have said very helpful guys.
  20. He's already after one but hasn't got the money spare to go the whole hog and get a nitesite (even DIY) and pay for a decent PCP. Told him I'm quite happy to let him have a go with mine till he's saved up for his own gear.
  21. Took my friend out for a wander on one of my permissions last night as we've not been out for a while and he's only been plinking targets before. Got out to the paddocks and set up my S200 and gave him my old refurbed BSA supersport to have a go with till the light dropped. After an hour or so of waiting i managed to stalk him up to a 25 yarder, got him laid down with my setup and the bipod out and started to focus in. The rabbit was sitting nicely so after a quick "aim here" and why, i handed over to him. First few pulls on the trigger and i realised i'd not loaded it for him so a bi
  22. Kinder egg count out your bottles worth of pellets, bung a piece of polishing cloth in to line it and stop rattle. and the bonus is you get a chocolate egg and a toy
  23. Bought myself an NS50 last thursday and friday night went out with my brother and mums partner from 9pm-1am. spend the first hour or so getting used to the gun hold and getting a clearer picture on the screen. With 3 of us all going at the same quarry i didn't manage to bag anything and so whilst my brother is in scotland and mums bloke down london for the week i decided to venture out on my own for a few hours. The permissions we've got are either massive open fields, paddocks or a bit of woodland so i decided to have a wander down the paddocks knowing that one has just been re-seeded and
  24. Id be interested in them if Hunter bull x doesn't want them should fit my Axssor? [The real one!] Are they silver or black 8 shots? Simply brilliant guns mate as good as anything out there and at half the price... They're silver 8 shot mags, I'll try and pop a photo on when i get home for you. I can't say 100% as i've not tried them but i would say they're for both the Logun or Webley version of this gun.
  25. Bacon fat skewered on tent pegs Leave it in the fridge for a few weeks in a zip-lock bag and it'll truly hum and It's tough enough that they can't pull it off and do a runner.
