    Hi All Just asking, would getting the piston buttoned on my V-mach tuned HW97K make any real difference, as the rifle already shoots very sweetly, with minimal recoil. I was however thinking of getting the trigger unit polished, so does any body know where I could just send the trigger unit, to get it done and the approximate price.

    Its down to personal preference mate. The TX is basically a tuned rifle out the box, but the 97 is a good gun as it comes, but after a tune, is a superb gun.

    As above really mate, suitable clothing for the weather, bit of grub and a drink. Use clothing that is waterproof, but also does,nt make a lot of noise when moving about. Staying warm is half the battle if static hunting, or having a mooch, as you are not really moving about a lot to keep you warm. I always take a moby phone and a compact first aid kit, as its easy to nick yourself on barbwire fences etc.

    As above mate, I put a V-mach spring in my 97K and its had about fifteen thousands shots through it over the years and its still as consistant as ever. I can see the spring lasting for thousands more

    They are superb guns and very underated by people, I had one for years before i got my HW97K. Solid , accurate, and reliable, what more could you want

    I agree with the satifaction of nailing a shot with a springer, that is mostly predictable with a PCP. Thats why I have both types of guns, and therefore the best of both worlds

    Having shot one of those already. I can say they are a fantstic piece of kit and will serve you very well mate. They also look totally badass in the tactical stock. .

    Antiseptic wet wipes, knife, plasters, water is camels hump in a mini back pack and binoculars. Always eat and dump before i go out

    Cheers guys, looks like I will stick with the HW mod then, as i thought the shroud would make it even more quieter. I guess its a case of if it aint broke. Thanks for your comments. They are appreciated
