  1. Funny thing, Orielton is only a stones throw away from Fresh East! Did you stay in one of the chalets across the road from the beach?
  2. If you were a rabbit Mooster mate, your ancesters going back 1000's of years, would have had to put up with all sorts weasles, stoats, polecats etc. coming into their burys to try to eat them! If your rabbit forefathers hadn't of figured out that more exits = more chance of staying uneaten, there's a very good chance that you wouldn't be alive today! To be honest mate, the wild rabbit hasn't really been studied by scientists a hell of a lot. One of the only serious scientific field studies of rabbits, was carried out here in pembrokeshire, at a place called Orielton, at a place called The
  3. Cracking little dog there, mate! Must have the heart of a lion. If you think that it's inconceiveable that a little dog could do that though, look up 'lion baiting' on wikipedia. They used to pit staff types against lions, a few hundred years ago, and they reckon the little staff came out on top around 60% of the time. A dog only has to use it's jaws to kill a large animal.
  4. Nice one mate! Nice when you do a job for a decent sort, makes the job alot more enjoyable!
  5. LOL! you going to try to teach me to suck eggs next, or what? I was knocking rabbits over cleanly at 35 yards with a HW35e when I was 15. Your alternative interpretation was what I was insinuating...... I've never had any experience with the gun in question, but I've heard that they're not as bad as they used to be, thats why i've asked! I've lost count of the times i've stressed the importance of a quick, clean death to the intented quarry on here, and how we as hunters should have respect for all animals at all times, even if we intend to end it's life. But if your post wasn't aimed
  6. With all due respect mate, why do you want a silencer and a bi-pod for a springer. An SMK 19 is really only good for a bit of tin can bashing, please for goodnes sake don't go hunting with it. Can I respectfuly ask why not? I mean, I get the bit about shooting a recoiling rifle with a bi-pod but I thought that gun was full or nearly full power.
  7. It makes you laugh! One of the neighbours came running over a few months ago. One of my mates ferrets had escaped, and gone up the stairs into her first floor flat. My mate wern't in so I went to look for the fert. The last place she'd seen it, was in her bathroom. So in I went, no sign of it. She went to check the kitchen while I searched the lounge. All of a sudden, I seen some movement in a pile of clean washing that was on a chair. As I got closer, this little white head popped out from under a of a pile of clean knickers! I quickly gaffed the fert, and shouted 'It's OK, I've found her!' I
