  1. WOW! nice picture! have you not coursed them bunnies yet
  2. Them Hares get stronger the longer the course goes on the less chance ya dogs got down our way! Id like to see a 5/6 minute course and a greyhound dont have enough stick you gotta have that saluki to get the dog to stick it in my opinion but each to there own!
  3. there is so much to consider size of fields, the grounds its running on, what are you coursing for? Down our way the fields are sizeable but not massive and its Flint city down here to although the much prefered dog is bull x saluki grey! Our quarry is everything aswell we are lucky to have rabbits big and small haha and sika roe or fallow!
  4. My pup used to yap on rabbits first month or so of taking him out but now he dont make a noise. Only rabbits though anything else it was fine with.
  5. My Bull x Saluki Grey 8 Month old dog will smash 3 out of 5 on a night out already, he will go straight through the bushes and pick them up. He only gets one night a week at the most as he is young and wont break speed till 15-16 month. People will say its to young others will say its not but if the dog will run at 8 month let it run at 8 month. All i did was take it out twice a week on the lead watching the lads older dogs do it then ever so often the softer mouth dogs would retrieve a live one and we would drop it for the pup to chase. He started catching the drops with ease so we introd

Im out 3 nights a week drive about 60-70 miles each night going up and down the areas i go to with my brother and best mate. I love it finding new places. I do like the bigger game aswell though Plenty of them round my way pretty much in every field in dorset Keep the Freezer full Gents. ATB
  8. I love the Bull x but to say the bull gives them the heart? No way My best mate owns a saluki x grey its got everything you could wish for in a dog including a effing big heart when hes running. He will smash anything in his sight ( pretty much haha hes not invinsible) I have a Bull x Saluki grey pup 7 months cant wait to get him working! Each to there own i say bit of a stupid post this really. Thats what google is for surely?

  10. LOL!! Drop the dog a rabbit! Thats how i taught my pup 7 months now goes straight through rabbits no hesitation! catch and release at 6 months got him interested! f**k THE ANTI'S! STAY KEEN FOR COURSING!
  11. Run ya pup on some catch and release rabbits around 6 months to give him a taste is my personal opinion. Just remember most dogs dont break there speed till there getting on 16 month old. A bitch will come on hell of a lot quicker. Its personal preference what breed you want to be honest with ya listen to some of the good advice above and you wont go far wrong but you gotta like what your buying in the first place.
