  1. Good luck with finding a decent home.Take your time.I'd have it like a shot but not got kennel space at mo,real shame.
  2. There are more good guys out there than you realise.I became dog less this year because of a divorce, and lads were offering me dogs to have on loan over the winter and said when they bred in summer a pup has my name on it. Some really generous offers from people I'd only spoken to via forums or friend of a friend.Very humbling in fact.
  3. They may have got caught up in the xmas post,as last weekend was the biggest day for internet sales.
  4. Top dog, what part of Northamnts was this as its close to me?
  5. Well done boys keep up the good work.Scott
  6. Kill it,I like look of pics parents, and I trusted you from txts that they were parents off pups.I always see pups with mum. I broke every rule of mine when I bought you're pup, and bird was spot on. I even wrote an article about buying puppies a few years ago that was published in the countrymans weekly,so I'm a fool. Totally understand about people nicking your dogs, hence aI borrow two Rottweilers when people view pups and only breed for mates and friends of friends. Bottom line my pup who is a cracker now, thank god, nearly died from his worm infestation.Thats all I got to say on matter.
  7. It ended up with an infection from worms was on a drip and one point I hand fed it every 2 hours for 48 hours,it passed over 20 large worms in its first week with me and a lot with during the next 3 weeks. I picked the biggest. I travelled 6 hours to get it,hoping to see mum but you met us at pub with pups in the boot(not a coupe or estate, a closed boot! Against my better judgement and because we had travelled so far,(and yes pups looked well), difficult to check pups over in the dark of a pub car park.We came back with a pup and for me dropping my principles I payed a price. I have had lurch
  8. I bought one of these pups for £70, its cost me over £200 to get right having one of the worst cases of worms that the vet had seen! The vet reckons the mum had'nt been wormed correctly,or pup. The pup went on a drip at one time as it would have died. Fortunatly the pup is ok now. Buyers beware.
  9. I've got a 11 week old pup of this cross, and being new this type (having mainly beddy x before). Is there any tips into trainning him as he starts some field craft. He is quite a whingy pup very different to what I'm use to.Any advice greatly accepted.
  10. Have just got the above lurcher pup,and wondered if any of you guys have got any pics of the said cross? As I've only seen a few in Darcy's books. When I can fathom out the camera I'll post some pics.

  15. serious old school!Good to see my girl still in thick of it.Had to pass her mum on,in fact all my dogs on due to splitting with wife,so dog less mate.Other than borrowing my retired dogs that live with my mum yesterday to do some ratting.
  16. One of my retired terriers that lives with my mum has chlorpheniramine, which is a anti hisitime(crap spelling)for grass irritations etc.Rather than keep lining the vets pockets can we use human ones or anything else?
  17. all pups need jabs, especially as parvo keeps rearing is head.
  18. Mine is a 22" and 11 year old and can still do a 5 bar gate.Don't really see point in anything higher.
