OK Millet we all know you keep black nosed dogs that you think are unbeatable . Maybe they are on small fields doubled up and on the lamp. Lamps tend to attract a bit of attention too mate, especially if you make mistake and stumble off your permission. Lamps would be the perfect poachers companion if only they didn't attract angry farmers and keepers like bloody moths. This alsation cross might throw a few racy pups, and has been said if they were crossed with a sight hound blooded dog.They should make good uns. Seems to me a lot of guys on here get very superior when somebody breeds a litter of pups even by accident. It's not a sin to breed a litter of pups for christsake. The tenners yours or mine if you can get an authoratitive source to identify it either as a Brown hare or a Mountain Hare. It would be worth a tenner just to settle the dispute.

It's a mountain hare,midway between changing from winter coat to summer coat. But if it was shot in the midlands it's very lost.
