  1. I find I shoot my .22 on par 4/5 most of the time as I find I can get on target alot faster.
  2. Sounds like a bad scope pal Geg a lend of a friends scope and see if it works and if so you scope is the problem Also dont always fill the rifle to its full psi as there is a sweet spot were it more accurate. Mh old daystate airwolf had a 200bar fill pressure but found better accuracy shooting from 160bar to 100bar What kind of scope is it?
  3. Get buy a beretta and forget about it. I have had 6 semi berettas and never a problem witb any of them. Actually think the older 301 302 and 303 are better than the new ones
  4. More decoys 20+ shells Flapper And several full bodied on hangers for more movement Tried decoys on fresh cut and dug up fields with 5 to 10 decoys out just wasn't working a older jent told me get at least 30 out. Just because they are used to seeing big numbers worked a charm There smarter than most people can acknowledge
  5. Screw off cap on the objective lens (front) then below this you will see the threads grab the threads and twist whilst looking through scope until focused. Be warned dont screw out to far or you will release the nitrogen in the scope and it will not be usable.
  6. Are you 100percent its a genuine tasco there are a lot of copies out at the min. Tssco would be better than a jsr
  7. Keep a eye on ebay for scopes like hawke sidewinder Mtc vipers Nikko stirling targetmaster They come up at good prices now and again And yhey will withstand recoil no problem
  8. Great at day time terrible at night time Reticle to fine to see clealy at nite because at nite you will probably turn it down to around x10 power which make the rrticle tiny. That's why I got rid of mine but rather than that a excellent scope well built fells good. Gave sub 0.5 groups out of my .223 at 100yards
  9. Its bollocks here in northern ireland Most pigeons I have is 12 And the best crow day I had was 159 4am to 6pm On a average 3-4 hr shoot I would get around 35 crows I dont even like shooting pigeons there that little of them.
  10. Just a heads up for you Geoff - I was one of those unhelpful idiots that suggested to you to look up AmmoSmith on U Tube (Its not what people say but in the the way they say it) Study that saying and you may get were im coming from.
  11. Feck all building sites near me and feck all other jobs
  12. I thought the hole idea of a forum was to discuss these things. Other forums im on seem to give me better advice without the the criticism. I seem to be alienated already so I my just put serious queations on other forums and keep this account fot stupid stuff to pass the time. Rather than some one telling me to buy a book why dont they not say (its says this in my book) etc etc Or take a picture of the page out of the the book and post it onethe forums the way I have done??????
  13. A lot of guys had problems with them cycling 28g is it cycling them after you have fitted the washer in?
  14. Make a diy dummy bullet Get your brass cut slice down center of the kneck nip together slightly push a bullet in a few mm put into rifle as you push bolt in, the bullet face will touch the rifling and push bullet deeper into your brass. Eject your diy dummy bullet out as slowly as possible and don't let it be ejected measure it several times write down each measurement. Try with 3 different bullet head at least 5 times then find your average.
  15. Hmr for a all rounder but if you are thinking of getting a larger rifle in the future .223 .243 etc etc Go for the 22 as I find the hmr a in between calibre before center fire's. But if you only intend to have one rifle go for the hmr very accuarate cheap and will drop Foxes
  16. Im going to go back over soon and ask a few farmers if I cant shoot over there barley. Since my dad lives there and its free accommodation's I drove 30+ mile that morning and seen about 40 deer.
  17. Im from N Ireland and I have never seen the volume of birds or just wildlife in general here compared to the main land. 18. Just had a wee look on some americsn forum's they seem much more helpful to the stage were there photocopying complete manuals and posting them. No chance in hell of anyone on this forum doing that. Please excuse my terminologies and frustrations of this site it just seems like a waste of time with every post.
