  15. funny you mentioned that as I made a larger stencil last week of a cross so I can hold it against my target(usally a old bit of plywood I found in work) and hit it with a quick blast of flurescent paint also supplied by work for free boss> im not overly fond of target shooting or testing round of bipod I prefer a rolled up jumper but I have a diy sand bag which consists of a old pare of cottom jogging pants cut up filled with rice and cable tired at each end and then the same in a sock for rear support. when I made it I put a vid up on youtube as I had a broken foot at the time and
  16. Mine has a slow twist rate as well,1/12 I am using the 52 gr h/point with 23 grn of Reloader 7 I would like to go heavier, but it seem's lighter would be a better option for my rifles twist rate, but that is a good group mate, would be interested to see what you get at a longer distance, 55g is the optimum weight bullet for a 1:12 twist rate, in fact it is one of the closest matched bullets weights to barrel twist there is, the 5.56 1/12 twist barrel was tested upto 60gr bullets with accurate and stable bullet trajectory cant see why a 223 rem wouldn't also shoot it??????? I migh
  17. simmons whitetail classic £ ebay graet scope have one on my .223 2nd hand meopta's sell on ebay for 170ish very good low light gathering burris on ebay seen them go as little as 120 for a scope that's worth 450 new that's fairly cheap I had a redfield for a short time was very impressed with clarity for the price if it a scope for just deer and fox get a simple scope with no parallax adjustment or any of that nonesense
  18. Will do, the mtc scopes have been tested using a .338 lapua so our .223s and 243s will be nothing against it. roy lupton has one one one of his rifles on fieldsport channel youtube so don't let the price put you off it they were 1000 quid people would have more respect for them.
  19. I have tried it out to 200 yards but as my scope is only x10 times power I struggle to get on center of cross hairs dead on target as I cant really see it to the point I want to. I had a few 2" groups at 200 but was windy and I was shooting off car which was swaying in wind so I should be able to do better in good conditions with little wind. my goal is 1" at 200 and i'll be a happy camper
  20. 55gr mine barrel is only 1/12twist and I want to get it setup for varmiting out to 400yards long distance rabbits and crows etc
