  1. Good knows mate, I had a stage like that when o held the catty upright so I changed to gansta style and everything has been right since, I've decided thursday is the day I get my goose aswell lol
  2. Probably a stupid thing to ask you but are you sure the looped tubes are exactly the same length?
  3. Aim 6 inch higher lol, I don't know mate, what catty you using now ?
  4. I'm not sure mate I still aim i just do it faster lol
  5. Thanks lads, I honestly can't think of the last time I missed anything harry, that sounds really big headed but just a lately I've not been missing. I got a dove last night with an eye shot with a different catty, my mate had it off me for his spar though It's not just what I've been hitting either, all my last kills have been head or neck shots, this catty I've got now though has made a big difference though imo, because I cant hold it on aim as long as my others I'm taking quicker shots but while still aiming and im getting great results
  6. Was about 8-9m away, it pissed it down yesterday so didn't bother trying for a goose, I will get one when I can be arsed lol

  8. Went to meet hawkingyorkshire for a walk about, once we met up we put a rabbit up that stopped just abit too long to take a final look and dropped it with a headshot and a hexnut
  9. Why not change how you fly the hawk then? What do you fly her on ?
  10. Calm down mate, youve done nowt but ask about different hybrids which none of the, what 10 falconers on here, have flown. Id be interested to hear abit more about this African gos you fly
  11. Lol don't think I've seen one post about anything he's actually done about falconry
  12. Ended up shortening the forks and putting flats on it, gifted it to basil brushs young in. He really liked it apparently
  13. Marbles are ok for headshots, 9.5 are too light if owt mate. I use the nuts now but 12 mm lead is my preferred ammo
  14. Do you fly any birds mate ?
  15. Ye mate no different to using ball bearings. Planning on taking a goose tommorow with the catty after spotting some on the pond. Wish me luck lol
  16. Stunning that is, I refuse to buy any nice looking catties now incase they get confiscated like last time or i need to sling it
  17. 9.5 steels to the crop is my preffered aim point on a pigeon, if you got to a wilkos shop in the diy section there's s pick and mix stand of different screws and nails and bolts. For three pound you get a large bag and you can fill it as much as you want, so fill it with the large nuts they have, you should get around 400 for £3
  18. No a mate made it. Hexnuts are a lot better imo, rips nto aanything
  19. Didnt think i would get on with it when I first saw it but its bang on, had a young wood pigeon this morning with it I will upload the pic later
  20. Thanks for the replies lads, ye the hospitals are a waste of time. Told me I had to wait 7 month for a specialist by which time I might have ended up with a perforated bowel. The weight loss thing was terrible. I went to just under 8st, could see every bone in my body and the doctor kept fobbing me off saying it was a stomach bug i was struggling to shake and it wouldn't be any IBD because i haven't got a family history of it. Absolutely useless. But im under a good specialist now and things are looking good. Not looking forward to my review in december to see whether the disease has spread ag
  21. Was out with the mates lurchers lamping tonight so decided to take the new shooter a mate made me out for a trial run with a few hexnuts. Spotted a pigeon maybe 15ish metres away and dropped it with a headshot. I love this new catty and recommend one to anybody.
  22. Id have that top shot if I had the 30 notes spare and didn't have another sea fishing trip to pay for
