    So this is new pup and a couple of my other 2 the pup 10 weeks now pics will have been at about 8 and a half weeks she is whip saluki grey hoping she should be a handy thing then the terrier hu is about 14 yrs will still bush a few rabbits out but CBA with thick cover and then the ridgeback who will be about 18 months! Love to hear your thoughts on the pup Cheers for looking

    Nothing more annoying than dogs with no recall at night and end up hunting up all over the fields! Just keeping everything a game! As long as its not guna do any harm in long run its all gd Atb

    Ok so I've got a whip x sal/whip/grey pup 10 week old! I'm wanting her to be a good alrounder! Day and night ! So when I've walked her at night I've had a big torch and just getting her recalling and sitting and being patient as well as in the day! She is 10 weeks old and it's for 5 mins that's all just wanted to get her happy to be out in the dark and listening to me as much as she does in the day! How many of you do this good or bad?

    Just looking at getting a new a new lamp and just wondering why all the different coloured filters?????? Only ever used a lamp with out one and with red so what are the other colours for? Happy hunting

    Not sure if this is in the right section or not a friend is thinking about getting a little terrier for bushing and ratting! Been offered a few different pups from plumber pups ( I know they are not what they used to be but it's from working stock and for bushing and ratting) a nuttal bred pup aswell as a few other random terrier pups! We don't want something that's guna go to ground all the time just something that will push rabbits to ground for ferrets and flush to the lurchers! Cheers

    Not really if everyone is sensible there is sport for all! I'd never have gone with lurchers on coubtry the hint was on next day for instance but it's a case of respecting each others! Problem is a lot of the lurcher lads round us don't go out for sport they go out to kill everything they find! (pre ban) so there for not only destroying there own sport but everyone else's! But it's no gd saying that the hunt lot are like that cos on the whole they're not and I like seeing lurchers and running dogs go as much as hounds! Atb

    That's abit Not very fair comment I ride to hounds I go out with lurchers terriers ferrets you name it, if it's a country sport ( and legal obv) I'll do it! There is a lot of lads that hunt with us that also have lurchers etc so tarring us with the same brush isn't on! We can't do what we like at all! And have far more hassle with the hunt than with the lurchers! We're in the same boat trying to turn things round slagging each other off isn't going to help! The last thing we need is a divide between the hunting communities! Atb

    So as the title suggests! for you guys lucky enough to have been coursing hares before the ban! Or in Ireland! How often did dogs pick up there 1st hare they coursed if ever! or how long does it take for them to start picking them up regularly?

    Hi what are the best DVDs interested in all quarry species! So obviously older per ban DVDs are of interest! Just got myself my first lurcher pup so anything to do with entering pups would also be good! Seen a few posts but can't find them now Cheers

    I know a lad round us does ours physio would have him out over a Chiro any day! He has made I difference in our eventers that no other physio ever has can't knock him! Not sure if it might be same guy tinker uses cos he is from that area and whips in! He's a lad called joe! Can't think of his second name but he's fab would recommend him allay long!

    I've just got myself a whippet greyhound saluki pup the bitch she is Out of is a saluki x and she is very quick and capable put urself out to find a x!

    Can I see pics of similar x's I've just got myself a bitch of this breeding sire 22" coursing bred whippet x 25" whippet saluki grey! This is my first lurcher always been around them , hounds and terriers! What do you use yours for and what would you think they are capable of pre ban! And Anything specific I should do???? Cheers!

    Hey lm new to this forum and this is my 3rd attempt at starting this post! Don't know why it hasn't worked before! I've been around hounds terriers and lurchers most of my life but have finally taken the plunge to getting my own lurcher! I want her as abit of an alrounder really! Mainly some big rabbits! She is sired by a 22" non ped whippet x 25" whippet/ greyhound / saluki ! What do you think of this x and do you guys have any pics of yours bred in a similar way! Cheers
