If you're referring to the fact that he's not muddy, we've had one of the worst droughts on record this year. Once you get deeper than about a foot, the earth is powder dry. But again, thanks for the kind words. Bud.

not being rude bud but if my terrier was sat on my knee smiling. For the camera. And just to his right was. A hole being dug and my terrier weren't screaming and trying to get their head down the said hole . I'd be. Re thinking. My 1000 bucks. Fee. Only my opinion. Bud !!!! Your Sherlock Holmes skills could use a little polishing. 1. Not my knee 2. We were done 3. That's me on the gaff, trying to see where the tube went and if there was a tee we'd somehow missed. But thanks for the opinion nonetheless. It was worth what it cost.

Nice brace of black dogs. Good luck with them.

Good thought. He's far too valuable as a stud dog to ever put to ground again. Imagine having that perfect muzzle marked up. I guess I'll just have to retire him. retire him --as he even started Started is about it. He's an 18 month old pup. He's been dug to maybe a half dozen times. You english are too easy to wind up.

yankee fool You still pissed about 1776 or something?

Hickory, That is an impressive set up you have there. Is the building just for your dogs? It's bigger than my house!! (only joking) I am always slightly envious of terrier men in North America and Australia. The space you have is fantastic, two 50'x50' runs is bigger that my total garden area (NOT joking) As an aside, are your dogs an American line. The dogs (at this distance) are similar to a white line over here. ATB The building is multi purpose. I park my truck in there, it's my workshop, I park five bikes (the kind you make go with your legs) in there and there is a spare

Would you want your dog facing down such an animal?

I guess I'll just have to retire him. yeh them possums will suck the face off of him Eh I've heard it said that a good strong possum is the best test to see if you have a real working dog. One about four pounds or so. If you have a dog that can find fit and stay on a possum, what more could you possibly want?

Look at those feet man, those are digging feet.

Now that you see him I'm sure all will agree $1,000 for a dab or two of his semen is actually a bargain.

Solid looking pair.

"only if they had a 1000dollars in their arse pocket" thats what you really ment to say, gone against everything you've said on another thread. all the best Not exactly. Friends are free, acquaintances not so much. And by the way, I prefer Scrumpy Jack.

Nice P3D. Here's a pic of my set up. Two 50'x50' exercise paddocks. They are built of 2"x4" welded wire with the top at 5', bottom foot is folded inside lying on the ground to keep them from digging out. There's also a hot wire about 10" off the ground to keep them from hanging on the fence when a rabbit or one of the chickens walks by. You can't see the second paddock but it borders the one the dogs are in on the side with the green gate. Kennels proper are covered for shade and protection from the weather. They are on concrete. Bedding areas are built inside. Dogs get to

Well bud, which leg of a three legged stool is most important? Not enough said.!!!!!!!! As for me, I want it all and get it too.

Approved bitches only. Always working to improve the breed is the watchword. And further, I want to protect my reputation and my dog's reputation by only having our names associated with quality terriers. Quality meaning correct conformation, sound temperament and the drive to work. There are no guarantees when you are breeding dogs, but you can improve your chances.

Bring it on boys, we're ready for it.

I think it's the raising you get that leads folk to be either honest or dishonest.

I have six Russells. One I bought, three I bred, two were gifted. I also have a big red mixed breed farm dog that we rescued. The $1,000 keeps the riff raff out.

To all going on about no stud fees. For a FRIEND I'm willing to board the bitch and take care of her like one of mine for two weeks, mate the dogs every other day, wash them up before and after the mating, put up with the rest of the dogs going apeshit cause there's a bitch in heat in the yard, feed her, pick up her crap, make sure she's exercised, make damn sure she doesn't get out or get mismated and so on for nothing. For someone who's an acquaintance who's got a good bitch and wants what my dog has to offer, those services cost a cool $1,000 US. And no apologies and no strings either.

the thing is. the worst sort of dog folk.(to me anyway) are those that think they can get to the top of the ladder . but dont use all the rungs on the way up. folk with a bit of cash can be the worst. they really do think that money can buy success. well not in the dog world. clueless clowns with a bit of cash will ruin a dog as quick if not quicker. Thus, approved bitches. As I mentioned, I don't want his name or mine on shit anywhere.

In my experience, the best dogs change hands among friends and are freely given.

Too bad he can run that well.

I've done a 15 footer. Would not have wanted to be starting that one without knowing where the dog was. We got both raccoons.
