it wasnt titled ''opinions on croriders opinions'' lol. AND YES I KNOW YOU KNOW 1000 TIMES MORE THAN ME ABOUT DOGS, LIKE MOST PEOPLE ON HERE, THATS WHY IM ON HERE.

No offence mate but you're opinion holds about as much weight as a ballon, you've got a yorkie x chihuahuh x whippet ffs. Wasn't the OP asking for ground to run because he's moved and can't get out anywhere in a thread the other day? why are you thinking about breeding when you've got no permission where you live now????? Yea i dont know if you can read but i did state that i aint been in the game long and didnt claim that my opinion meant anything. Simply stated id see her run and listed her qualities. If you look at what i said about breeding her with a proven dog with good feet no

ive made friends with older experienced guys like jonnyboy who arent always having a pop at me and a couple of them have taken me out on their permission for which i was grateful. Dont misinterpret what im saying though and think im being sensitive and cant take a little banter im bored of those comments now. But i dont think you should be telling me i should be kissing this geezers arse when he's ripping me? You, for example have never been rude to me, so ive never been rude back. If i had said something out of order or completely ridiculous id take it on the chin but my comments about what

it aint the hardest thing in the world to understand what im asking. let me try and simplify it cos its not a shite question as you put it. should be quite a simple one. Ive been told to give my dog easy runs while he's learning, what im asking is what sort of odds do you have to give an experienced dog to avoid disheartening it? In easy terms how many should your dog be getting out of say 10 slips? cos if you only picking squatters and piss easy runs then surely a decent experienced do will kill most of them. Do you understand what im asking now??? Obviously i know theres many variables lik

Just wondering about the size of a slip you give your dogs on rabbits? If it's proven itself for a season or 2 do you slip it on rabbits you think it might not get or stick to slips in its favour. Can you still dishearten a dog with too many misses after a few seasons of good bags?

Seen that bitch run, aint seen too many dogs working cos i aint been in this game long but she's the quickest ive seen in a straight line, well trained and obedient. Runs straight down the lamp flat out from a massive slip every time. If a good proven dog with good feet and stamina was put across her id definitely have a pup. From what i understand from everything ive read on here, you can turn a half decent dog into a real good one with time and effort and a shit one into an average one aswell. if Hes been working dogs a while and shes the best youngun hes had and one of the best hes seen,

Quite an interesting little thing, never mind the begrudgers give the mutt every chance and it might just make em eat their words Cheers, i only got the ferrets cos everyone convinced me they were his only chance of some real sport but after seeing his first attempt on the lamp i think i should of trusted my own instincts a bit more. Considering none of them had seen him run and the few men that do work dogs had told me i should work him after seeing him run with their dogs. Dont get me wrong, i'm under no illusions that he'll be anything special but that was never my intention, if he ge

Yea the second one but the first one didnt even make a noise did it? i reckon he'll get jealous if he keeps seeing buzz catch them properly. He'll learn. Will let you know mate, Buzz should get himself a few tonight aswell in this weather.

oh and i should add that that comment was pretty innacurate really. we didnt slip him on whatever we saw i said that wrong. most of the rabbits were too far to slip him on so we let him watch buzz instead. we only slipped him 4 times and he had a decent chance at all of them and most importantly he finished on a high

Cheers millet, thats pretty much what i intend to do. I wont slip him on something hes got hardly any chance of catching but if i think the odds are in his favour i will. Its good to hear that most of your pups have done the same thing though, thought maybe that was the chihuahua in him lol! He's only just turned 12 months, i got my dates wrong before, thought he was 14 months.
