That's a good idea didn't think of that, could just strap your phone to your dog whilst lamping or lure coursing

with the take off speed being 0mph taking a good 6 or 7 strides to be at full speed, the bends as you menioned and the fact that its over 460 meters i spose youd have to assume her absolute top speed would be a fair bit higher than that. according to anything you read online salukis are about 5mph faster than whippets, not sure if i beleive this

Always wanted to know accurate stats but cant find any, apart from greyhounds whippets and salukis although i dont know how accurate these actually are. I know of someone that has used a radar gun to measure the speed of his track greyhounds and also seen a tv program of one being used on cheetahs. Has anybody out there ever managed to measure the speed of their sighthounds or even other breeds used in the make up of a lurcher? cheers

funny you say that my mate paid £65 for a test on her bull grey. The test came back saying slight amounts of whippet with lots o greyhound and Victorian bulldog
-
Well it's obviously pretty accurate if they didn't see any pictures or have any knowledge of type of dog. It could of come back shitzu, lab and poodle

Whippet x Chihuahua/Yorkie

he shit his self and thought it was a rat

yea most fighting breeds would, but the one we're talking about was apparently set onto these lads and im sure it werent to scare them off with kisses. My next door neighbour has had 2 put down for savaging people. and he has another one again. he gets his mates chuck stuff at them through the window and poke them with a stick in their crate. Needless to say they hate strangers and you have to be off your f****n head to go in his house when it wasnt crated. His rottie is the softest dog i know are you sure we're not telling a few porky pies here? no the blokes a cock. he deals weed to t

surely theres some big lurchers out there that could be pp trained properly J1985? most dogs with half bull blood should have the minerals shouldnt they? I know a pure greyhound is pathetic compared to the dogs youve mentioned but bollox wise you cant beat an apbt. A proper one should fight till its last breath

i could think of worse crosses, bet they could turn out ok. I know someone with 2 little working labs, there as quick, fit and nimble as a border collie. Obedient, clever and soft mouthed with the perfect retrieve. Poodles can be very powerful courageous animals aswell. Might never compare to your standard crosses but im sure theyd be better than a bichon frise They are handy rabbiting dogs as my mate has one BUT The only way I'd have one is if anything happened to my mate as I'd end up kenneling it I think it looks the part aswell

Did you find them lying in a ditch : ) yea i did Jay you got me

believe it or not over here that's a very popular cross for rabbits and other small things. they're bloody handy but get a lot of stuff stuck in their coats. I'm quite offended that you muck around saying that's what you're getting making them out to be shit. at least some people worked out i was mucking about then .Only on small things though? I've heard they're great on crocs down under?

Your welcome mate. How old is yours? They do just "get it" eventually. Keep getting as close as you can before slipping. And dont slip untill the rabbit moves. You should feel the lead go tight as his body stiffens as he sees it. If you have a mate with an experienced dog it would be good to go just for your dog to watch. do they all just get it eventually? cos mine still touch and go wether he runs the beam to find it or not cos most nights i cant get very close to them round my way No, they wont "just" get it eventually mate. You gotta put effort in, teach them and persevere. If you -
