Yeah the best dog I ever had was a beddie greyhound whippet brilliant little dog not saying he was a world beater but a lot of game in the bag for me. The beddie cross they give everything every run no quit in them you made the right choice for a first dog

But sometimes distance, life, weather and stuff gets in the way for some people. And if there is something special that your after. yeah I know what your saying if you have someone you trust who has seen the dog work then fair enough. You could also ask on here about the quality of pups he throws before you line your bitch

Mate really don't envy that situation your in really not good all over a few hares. Don't know what to recommend not sure what I would do if I was in your shoes. It's another level when they come mob handed and armed.
