Gaz I was back at Northallerton today with les and a couple of keen youngens to help out a bit I went round first thing Saturday with one of the holders Phil my little dog molly was marking some lovely sets but the ones you would do first on your own opinion ( no dog ) nothing quick sniff and away believe me molly has never let me down yet anyway today we proper put a good shift in for 12 bloody rabbits gutted it was that slow molly dug down for her own rabbit lol and to top the day 4 out of five ferrets are in seson

  5. I run mine with a thermal wax coat with no problems it I've seen one in the vets witch is much more suitable and warmer

  11. Very interesting this post is and a very good read. Every man to his own' but going through a headge and over walls is all well and good through the day my little blade don't and won't jump wire fences every thing else ok but nights out lamping the last thing I want him doing is chasing a rabbit which ever way into the next feild possibley 2 felids chasing all the other quarry away . I've learnt him to come straight back if it goes through the headge as its pointless risking your dog for 1 rabbit or your dog its self for whatever it's chasing when the possibility of getting 5 when you enter t

  13. Some how hunting a lion and a rabbit don't even compete 1 we don't have wild lions 2 it's directed to Africa 3 if this worrys you there's something not right in your head
  14. Yeah it's breath taking veiws up around mine in all sesons our blades got the looks too lol
  15. I was thinking the same tbo thought about pegging the middle at the top and bottom guide with a pole to help it purse faster
  16. We do use them but you can't set them up when you have a fence ether side of the headge
  17. I've a couple of long nets I use with out fixed poles so ether use like Tomo said or held up with a spair pole
