    Right lads my peacock died today he is in cracking nick got a full tail an all that is he worth anything to a taxidermist It seems a waste of some great feathers to chuck him to the dogs I wouldn't want him myself as a mount just wondering if there any value in him to someone else

    I had one at home as a pet but they only live to 7 or eight but she Cought the odd rat around the chicken hutches but missed more than she Cought by a long way just had it as a pet I could walk her when I was eight an she never pulled at all real gentle giants

    My dads got the 3.2 an it's got about 200 thousand on the clock an it's never had a problem has half a ton off feed in the boot every week suspensions still fine never been stuck even on wet ground Evan towing a cow box with three killing weight beasts in really good vehicle an sits nice on the road compared to say a landrover a lot smoother an quieter

    He now catches them within ten yards usually in the mouth off the hole I have him loose on top an he wanders round when he sort of points one will bolt a few seconds later an he's on it must hear them bellow ground

    Yer i had my old dog with ferrets from day one never had an accident with ratting or ferreting and he came out with me from about 6 months on but I made a point of netting every hole until he was about nine months by then he understood all about nets and everything else then I found a nice open warren off about 8 holes an just let him work it out he missed the first an Cought the second

    Yer I think if the dog is with ferrets daily from a young age they just see them as part off the furniture no accidents then an for taking her out properly that' depends what your planning on doing like getting her to work with the long nets or to purse nets that u net everything or just open holes because it is a lot off different strain for a dog to run all rabbits or push into long nets compared to purse netting everything

    Introduce to ferrets as early as possible and can sit an watch ferreting from about six months because not goin to have runs net every hole an just let the pup watch teach it about not sticking its head in the holes and that to hold rabbits in nets till u get there

    I had accidental mating with my pure collie bitch to my lurcher she was six an had never had a season walked on the yard one day an they were tied so some dogs can seem barren then show an I've also seen the opposite mate off mine had a beddy whip that all dogs wanted to get on constantly would make two dogs fight because she was just sat there yet she was like this all the time
