    Alot of the old school digging men in my area all claim patterdales have no nose and are only good in small spots. They still stand by their opinion even when my patterdale has proved their dogs wrong twice is he a one off or are they full of shit?

    Tried 3 this season first was a lakie russel bitch which self entered and was dug successfuly at 3 foot in september after that she started leaving her quarry after 10 min so she didnt make the grade. then a patterdale dog which i have high hopes for in the future .was dug 9 times this year and never put a foot wrong abit hard but what can you do.Then another patterdale dog which was dug 3 times and was abit of a headcase aswell but for some reason he started to sleep in burrows if their was a shower of rain or snow was absolutly gutted so he failed aswell.

    collie x bitch was the most annoying c**t of a dog. it would run for miles if any loud noise was made even a tractor driving past or a shot being fired a mile away would make her run for home. couldnt take her out in company as she would huff and refuse to do anything and if you shouted at her because of this she would run away lol had her from six months and to top it off she was shite on fox barked like f**k at them.

    I have a patterdale that is undershot 1.5cm it hasnt stopped him eating or holding his quarry. They might look ugly but it wont affect their working ability.
