Or you could just sit in front of a bush downwind and not risk breaking your neck/gun/both..... trouble with that you never know which way its gona come and when high up you can see more around you and watch as it comes into range .take it you aint bin up many trees I haven't to be honest and I can understand the advantages...sort of but I do well enough on the ground - sorted out 2 in 3 days couple of weeks back on ground with shottie. Either way whatever works for you it just seems a bit of a recipe for disaster to me all i do is put auto on mi back then climb then load easy.i pick tre

get baiting up near a easy tree to climb just bait up for a wk then get up your tree .you dont need to get that high maybe 10 foot and it wont pick up your scent

you can also squeak them in as you would do a fox

it all depends where the mink are weather round farm or river or in streams leading to a river .ive always done wel using mk 6 fenns tucked under tree roots then block them in with a few logs and sticks .mink like to explore places like that .

with all the health regs these days farms have to be alot cleaner and they put poison down .i went door knocking today with no luck .i asked him how many chickens he had and he said just short of 17000 all free range
